This hyped comedy is now available in DVDRip quality. I’m sure many of you will be glad to see that DiAMOND is in charge of the release, which means the odds of sync issues and missing scenes is slim to none, but unfortunately, DiAMOND seems to pay little respect to the sound quality. The flick runs 110 minutes long, but it’s packed to just 1 CD with MP3 audio (again). If this means nothing to you, then surely you will enjoy the release. Otherwise, seek an internal AC3 version.

Synopsis: DRILLBIT TAYLOR tells the story of three nerdy adolescents who, on their very first day of high school, find themselves the target of a merciless, near psychotic bully. The friends band together and pool their funds to hire a personal bodyguard, Drillbit Taylor (Owen Wilson). Taylor, a homeless beach bum and AWOL army soldier, plans to con the kids just long enough to pull together the money needed to amscray off to Canada. A momentary flash of a conscience and a growing crush on a teacher at the boys’ high school, however, compels Drillbit to stick around, do the right thing, and ultimately save the day.

    Pity for those that actually enjoy this kind of trash.
    You haven’t got a clue what-so-ever what true movies are like.How I miss Stanley Kubrik… What he made, or his ideas that got finished off as movies (A.I. Artificial Intelligence) is what TRUE movie-making is like, also an unforgettable experience. Unfortunately, these days are almost completely void of any of this type of work…
    True directing & film-making. Quality wise,
    Diamond releases are always of good audio/video
    (especially the 2cd & rare 3cd ones).

    This brainwashing garbage is meant to increase testasterone
    levels & if watched en masses with these kinds of movies
    can increase rates of developing phenylketoneuria later on.
    (just take a look at a few rlslog pages and be surprised at how many you can spot, they usually give themselves away with bright-color poster adds) Or have a look @ what’s playing @ the theatres *cough* zoos *cough* Pure trash meant to keep the cattle constantly left-brain-hemisphere-only functioning at 14-30 Hz, with right hemisphere switched off. Oh, and drinking soft-drink crap full of aspartame, sugar, and possibly lead. And “food” that’s ALWAYS heavily laced with MSG. I bet those enjoying these kinds of “movies” heavily fall into the above discripton. Nothing new, as usual as this was going on for a VERY LONG TIME. But the saddened part is, that they’ll even defend their own defectivess. That’s how undermined the “human” (they still consider defining themelves that) race has become. With “humans” living on the surface this whole planet has become a one giant laboratory. Enough… I’m off… (Don’t bother with the new Windows either, alpha or not when it’ll be fully completed it’ll will be even worse than Vista, or perhaps might suffer the same fate Longhorn did.
