A fairly popular comedy Drillbit Taylor with Owen Wilson in the main role is now available in the new screener released by group BaLD. This release means a significant improvement in terms of quality since the latest telesync, however it’s far from perfect. The VHS source fails to provide sharp image so this one is little blurred but overally very watchable full screen rip with nice colors.

When three high school students tire of being harassed by bullies, they hire a bodyguard named Drillbit Taylor to save them. Owen Wilson (WEDDING CRASHERS) stars as the tough guy of the title, who poses as a teacher at their school to keep an eye on the trio. Seth Rogen (SUPERBAD) co-wrote the film, while Judd Apatow earned credit as a producer.

    ‘BetaMax is pigturd…’ not so much..

    while the original betamax format was, as most formats back then, pigturd in comparison to formats today, it was never dropped by the professional broadcast video industry and was one of several standard formats.

    from betamax came betacam and from this came HDCAM (used in Sony’s Cinealta camera line, which were used in filming Sin City & Cloverfield to name a few..

    i knew the dvdrip was gonna be here in mid june, but how do you guys know the dvdrip will be out tommorow?

    DVD Rips usually always come 19 days before “shelf date”. This comes out on July 1st so 19 days before shelf date is tomorrow. Sometimes, it may take a day or 2 longer but usually no longer than the following Monday. So expect this DVD retail rip between tomorrow and Monday June 16. But I would say 90% of the time, the DVD rips come on Thursdays.

    This is the kind of non-sencious garbage that american-hollywood releases. They did it, and they still do it, and will continue. What does this ‘film’ potray? Pure stupidity, will make kids who watch it fabricate thoughts
    of bullying, thus generating fear or sence of uneasyness,
    dumbness, poor acting, (how could they NOT realize he was
    stealing their stuff at their age) I’ve seen dogs that are
    smarter then that. Enough… I’m sick of typing for this garbage. (I saw this because there are a couple movies that aren’t bad with him, so I thought I would give this a go, hardly could sit through it thou…) Bottom line - Don’t waste your bandwith on this brainless garbage and grab a real film. This crap will surely decrease your IQ. (That’s what it’s meant to do anyway, knowing who made it, their history, etc. But that’s another story that’s out-of-scope
    of this post.) Take care.
