I think it's full version (with high texture pack). The original (german) version had same "No voices in dialogues, only the first lines" thing, if I remeber correct.

Problem 1 = "Camera is so slow that my PC feels like a P266 !"
Solution = Edit -> X:\Documents and Settings\Mie Itte\My Documents\Drakensang\profiles\default\profile.xml
CameraSensitivity="1.000000" -> "2.00000" (or more)

Problem 2 = "My characters run like 90-year old grannies !"

Solution = "SQLite Database Browser" -> Download it
Back up & open one of your savegames ("savegame.dsa") with it. "Execute SQL" ->
update _Instance_PC set SneakSpeed=1.5, WalkSpeed=2, RunSpeed=5.5, CurrentSpeed=5.5, MaxVelocity=5.5;

Save database + run game + load the save. "No more grannies"

I've played the German version of this game. It was, even in it's 1.0 version, very stable (that's on Vista x64). If you go into the game without any thinking about building up your character or how you go into combat you'll get creamed and so it should be. Character development is very interesting as well and you need to read up on this and simply try what works for you.

The environments are nicely animated and graphics are quite good for the genre.

The major letdown is that the game is very linear and you're not allowed to get back to most locations if you've done the quests there.

34 i think the problem is not in the game or with who made it, the problem is with u alone, has finished the german version of this game and i had no troubles at all, i dont know where are u exactly now in the game, but when i defeated a dragon it was, dont tell it was easy but, twas good, and yes the hp is not growing like in D&D style games like BG or IWD or NWN but u can get to raising ur HP eventually, i think i had a soldat, it means soldier, first was low on HP as well and didnt understand whys that, but after bringing the rules closer to me, i understand fully all the rules in the game, so its hard on first, because u not used to it, but later it can be all better and better, obviously u did something wrong with your group, and yes the next thing, u must choose the right members too, for me twas a great game and still is, but i like better english, then german language

I hate this game… where's the "From zero to hero" thing? its like "from zero to slightly less zero" in this game, im on level 17 and i got 14 more HP than i had at lvl 0, monster b****slap you all arround the place with magic that takes 1/3 hp per blast and theres like 6 healing potions in the whole game!!!

Ever noticed that when germans make a game, theres always some kind of crusade against evil? They sure like killing people for their beliefs . *cough* *nazi's* *cough*

Hmmm, looks like one of those 'old-school' RPG games like Wizardry. Trouble is, this is 2009! So we don't need crappy graphics, non-open worlds and slowwwwwwww combat.

I love RPG's, but this one I'll pass on.
