iMBT with a nice DVDRip of the latest film from Sam Raimi (The creator and director of the Evil Dead films which i loved). Ive heard some really great things about this movie so i cant wait to watch it although there were some DVDSCR/WORKPRINT releases of this film last month, i didnt actually watch those so here is the retail DVDRip for me to enjoy :)

Director Sam Raimi (Spider-Man trilogy, Evil Dead series) returns to the horror genre with Drag Me To Hell, an original tale of a young woman’s desperate quest to break an evil curse.Christine Brown (Alison Lohman) is an ambitious L.A. loan officer with a charming boyfriend, professor Clay Dalton (Justin Long). Life is good until the mysterious Mrs. Ganush (Lorna Raver) arrives at the bank to beg for an extension on her home loan. Should Christine follow her instincts and give the old woman a break? Or should she deny the extension to impress her boss, Mr. Jacks (David Paymer), and get a leg-up on a promotion? Christine fatefully chooses the latter, shaming Mrs. Ganush and dispossessing her of her home.

    according to dvd-stores "drag me to hell" is available on dvd as UNRATED DIRECTORS CUT only (running time 99 minutes)……..now i assume since THIS is the rip of the RETAIL DVD then it must be the unrated version since no other version is available……..?

    I'm not going to complain like the last 2 guys, but I will be waiting for the 1080 version.

    This movie was ok but nothing special evil dead trilogy are far better IMO if you want a good horror/comedy a oldie but a goodie i think is dog soldiers that rips the piss out of this!

    I dont mean to put you off but this movie is one of the worst I have ever seen. Its not even scary it looks like a parody or sth. I had been waiting for it to come out so I can watch it. I was very disappointing. Surely it doesnt deserve such a high score on IMDB. Enjoy!

    @80 Philip – What do you mean "who has time to download a 4Gb file"? I can download a 4Gb MKV in under an hour so why would I bother with lower definition when I can have the HDrip. Waiting an hour for a superior rip is no big deal. I think you under estimate the number of people that now have access to very fast broadband connections (20Mbps+).

    The runtime is the same as the theatrical cut. There is know way of knowing for sure without a direct comparison and seeing this is a new release that may be difficult. I would guess that this is the theatrical cut given the runtime and the fact there is no mention of an extended cut in the nfo for either the iMBT or WiKi releases.

    THIS IS THE UNRATED CUT!

    There lot's of different alternate/longer takes.

    SPOILER!:

    1. The nosebleed scene is different, in the theatrical cut she just covers up a hole of her nose but with no luck. Now she begins to puke blood in her bosses face and then it just starts to stream out of her nose.
    2. The part at night when she get covered up in bugs is 2 seconds longer.
    3. The part with the killing of the kitty is different, in the theatrical cut you just get to see the house and hear a kitty scream, now you see her stab it from her kitty's view and see some blood flying around.

    That's all I noticed for now, sure there must be a lot of shorter or longer alternate scenes added to this release.

    THIS IS THE UNRATED CUT!

    Theatrical cut is better though, it made the movie more serious than it already was…
