WOW, here is a huge release from P2P source PrisM that i really wasnt expecting at all, its the DVDSCREENER of Sam Raimis “Drag Me to Hell”. I cant wait to watch this film, ive got pretty high expectations for it from the reviews ive read and because its Sam Raimi and i loved the whole “Evil Dead” trilogy, so i hope its not a let down :) Quality wise it looks like a nice and clean DVD Screener with some “For sales screenies purposes only” text along the bottom for the movie, if that annoys you too much you can always wait for another group to crop that out ;) Enjoy!

Update: STG has also released his own version of the DVD Screener of Drag Me to Hell now. Colors were a bit dull, interlaced and had bad ivtc on the PrisM version apparently according to the NFO, looks like this is the version to get video looks much better. (NFO and torrent links below)

Update 2: Scene release has now been release by xSCR, Drag.Me.To.Hell.DVDSCR.xViD-xSCR. Probably just a re-encode of the P2P releases but more details below for anyone that wants it.

    Do not watch this version. Wait for the AC3 version because the sound mix is the real star of this film. A 720p with DTS would be even better!

    Best horror of recent years, and it's that sound mix that made it so good.

    where does it exactly say that in the nfo?
    reading the nfo, i think stg referred to the dvdr.
    and stg's release isn't even labeled a "proper" (i know they are p2p)

    Like others I'm interested to know if the Noir version is the finished film or whether it's missing special FX etc.

    The STG is just a re-encoded and cropped version of the Prism release. It's cropped too much also.

    Noir version is a workprint and has a timer in a black box running on the upper left hand side of the screen but not the screener ad at the bottom.
    Otherwise not too bad quality.
    Still too, distracting for me.

    And so the waiting begins…

    imo, xscr ver is the best, the others have considerably more vertical cropping (the cinema AR is false).

    The timer on xscr can be covered with logoaway, l:60 t:38 w:135 h:18, mode:uglarm expnent:4.

    STG is the best release ;)

    If you want to watch STG without tags top and bottom then install AviSynth and put the following script in notepad and save it as an .avs file then drag and drop it on your chosen media player

    AVISource("Video path here including video file.avi")
    Crop(14,14, -14, -18)
    LanczosResize(720,288)

    It will crop, resize and correct the slight aspect problem but you will get a little clipping on the subs at the beginning but you can still read them
