Not only is China a shame-based culture, but with the extreme wealth imbalance, with most of the country being little more than slave labor for the benefit of the few, and the wholly unprecedented gender imbalance, the question isn’t whether China will become a dominant superpower (it won’t, in any sense of the term), but unstead when and how it will self-destruct. Will there be a nasty civil war, possibly resulting in reform and a viable China once the mess has been picked up, or, more likely, will China lash out at Taiwan and/or Japan in an effort to prevent an inevitable civil war, thus likely starting WWIII?
I’d bet the farm on the latter, even as I hope for the former.
We must act quickly, before they are too many/they already are!!/, before they overpower us…these chinese… they will be a real thread for the whole world!!!
