To all the downers it was a brill episode if u dont like it go back to ur normal programs ie how to cut ur toes off or cooking to kill Brit show and its as good as the usa stuff (some of that cooks also)
Monumental clashing of so many plot avenues and tied tight and done, excellent stuff. Proper sadness at the end, kudos to the writers and actors.
Spin offs: Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures covered, tough sell, done well … power to the K-9!
Great quality, the smallest of pixel colour shifting about 10 minutes for the end, maybe 5-10 frames (less than a second), kudos again and thanks!

The only thing missing from this Episode was the Doctor’s Daughter,A ramp, A boat, A shark and The Fonz. RTD took out all stops trying to tie something together from every episode ever created.
A few cool things happened in this episode, but they pale in comparison to how awful this season was.
Oh wow, the cybermen are back? pfft how long till the Daleks are back? I mean after all they have only been destroyed for good a half a dozen times.
I am so glad the dude that wrote Blink and The library is taking over this show. He definitely has his work cut out fixing this ClusterF.

Now, I’ve finally seen the finale episode and it was brilliant. There were some deficiencies, but they were lost in the whole episode, so the only thing I’ve got to say is: WOW!

You know if they actually did kill off the daleks completley, people would moan that its not doctor who without daleks, they are the doctors ultimate enemy, its like having 24 without terrorists blowing the same crap up every season lol. O.K. since there has been enough people saying “It Sucked!!”,
let a 26 year fan of Doctor Who pipe in now in saying that it did not suck, not at all.
Series 1 finale didn’t suck,
Series 2 finale did suck emotionally,
Series 3 finale sucked storywise, because I was expecting more than what I got,
but the Series 4 finale didn’t suck at all.
But nobody touched on the little touches like the reference to “Genesis of the Daleks”, or the shot of the companions on the TARDIS after the major conflict had been resolved, or the scene that we’ve all been waiting for between The Doctor and Rose, touches that brought a smile to my face.
And yes, I do believe that Donna did “die” (yes, that’s what I got out of the episode, watch it again and take a look at it at a different viewpoint)
