    Wowsers…
They did keep that quiet…although I did suspect something after that comment during the ‘planet of the ood’ episode that hinted that mister Tennant’s days were numbered…..damn shame as he has been fantastic.

Who will be next……Robert Carlyle was mentioned a while back?

Tennant isn’t leaving, he’s filming the Christmas special in Cardiff now so he can’t be. If you look he didn’t take a direct hit from the Dalek… And there’s always the extra hand…

great show! best episode of the season so far.

i heard the next Doctor will be Jeremy Clarkson. He’s always wanted to drive something that goes faster than light and can corner on a dime, and Ferrari just isn’t improving quickly enough for him.

You know you children crowing about who is going to eb the new doctor in Dr Who should really learn to keep quiet and not make yourself look as stupid as you have done. According to a blog on the website of the American Wall Street Journal newspaper http://blogs.wsj.com/buzzwatch/2008/06/27/global-buzz-why-doctor-who-finale-has-uk-tv-fans-on-alert/?mod=googlenews_wsj looks into why British fans are so excited about the forthcoming finale - spoilers are included, so be warned. The Toronto Star in Canada
http://www.thestar.com/entertainment/article/449907 includes K9 in a run-down of famous “cute” science-fiction robots. The Scotsman http://news.scotsman.com/entertainment/Doctor-Who-star-set-to.4225079.jp meanwhile, reports that BBC bosses are allegedly ready to offer David Tennant 100,000 pounds per episode to sign up for the fifth full series of Doctor Who (so if they are going to offer Tennant the equal of 1.3 million pounds for 13 episodes-and that is 2,591,939 USD-for just one season…then why in Gods name would you say they already have a replacement or are looking for one?) So that means that all of you children saying that he has left or is leaving are not as smart as you think you are. Especially on the BBC’s Dr.Who website http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/ they clearly say that Tennant is NOT leaving as Tennant is signd up for a full season 5, after that it is up in the air.

    Get your facts correct n00bs.

Joanna Lumley has been contracted for the 2009 season 5 of Doctor Who. David Tennant is leaving to do other things and Russell T Davies wants to revamp the show’s look before leaving as well. Making the new doctor girl (Joanna Lumley) is a BBC priority since there has never been a female Doctor.

I saw this post yesterday, but intentionally kept from reading it to avoid spoilers.

I liked it, but I think maybe they had a few too many guess stars. The story kind of suffered a little having to fit them all in.

hoowah Martha Jones gets nekkid ooops sorry spoiler for the wrong universe, oh bummer then thats another season done with no bikini shots or alien brassiers, the horror, have the brits not heard of the sci-fi cleavage law? well at least we get to see Billie Piper without makeup in the latest confidentials and wow, she is the sweetest tart at a summer tea, rather unfair to have those lovely freckles and sporting complexion caked over as Rose or any role for that matter, sure to get you off faster than a season of Diaries, her raw beauty must be showcased in highdef give her a spinoff or hey maybe a new avengers, or maybe some edgy journalism like Ross Kemp, maybe Gates could sponsor a pbs/bbc project documenting poverty projects and research around the world with her hosting and give me the multipurpose grip/coffee/nerd/court jester job, if any crew like it thats zirnitis@hotmail.com lol, see you next week as we battle the Daleks in the finale, peace out K

Making the new doctor girl (Joanna Lumley) is a BBC priority since there has never been a female Doctor.”

EHHHHH WRONG answer bub. Lumley has stated on the BBC site that she is NOT going to be the new doctor as she is only going to be the “traveling companion” for the 5th season. Tennant is already signed for a FULL 5th season including the Christmas Special (that maeks 14 episodes) and will receive almost 1.5 Million pounds for the season. Not to mention that he has stated if they offer him the same amount again, he would be willing to do a season 6 and would sign a contract to do so.

Now on the other hand…it IS reported that if Davies keep up being such a prick and being so hard to work with, that HE very well can be replaced, so look for him to calm down quite a bit as when your bosses tell you either calm down or pack it in; you listen very well unless you want to receive your cards. And considering that the BBC is Englands version of Hollywood, you listen close when the biggest producer of films in the country tells you something as your options for employment are VERY limited if they fire you.

So it all boils down to who do we believe, the people that actually produce the TV show for you to see and the actors that star in it…or the n00bs who try to tell you something different. You decide

thats just the bbc trying to make another spin off
i mean ffs how many spin offs do they want
theres milking it and theres milking it

j.lumley as an assistant wat is she gonna be the mother figure??
