    well the season 1 doctor was the best i enjoyed the episode with the ATMOS thing that doctor said when they were wearing gas masks “are you my mummy”

    haven’t seen this episode yet, but the last two (so the 2parter by steven moffat) didn’t kick me outa my chair.
    i love moffat’s stuff for dr. who and i like his other stuff (like coupling) - but i hope he brings more time for the doctor as he is going to be ?head writer? of the show.

    I liked the last eps but this blew them out the water simple premise great writing the way the clunky characters where de-constructed was fantastic! Roll on Davros!!

    @smegla: had that idea for years on german tv, then watched international shows from past and present and now, here i am - putting white sheets on my fullhd telly, waiting for next seasons highlights…the ones you can count on two hands.
    tv is boring…even when you can decide what to watch from where and when…

    I gave my cousin my TV because she hasn’t got one in her new flat also because there is bugger all on TV and I’ve decided to read more books instead.
    If you like random funny Sci-Fi related cartoons then I highly recommend Frisky Dingo and Venture Brothers.

    @smegla: yeah, heard/read that before (from you???) on rlslog…

    finally me watched the episode: the doctor is up for mature women/milfs (no, catherine tate isn’t on of them) and he looks as young/fresh since his last regen, wooohoo.

    after the first half it got very boring, only the spoiler with rose in background telly and the preview kept my head awake.

    I have always been a fan of Dr.Who and was glade to see that they brought it back.. There has been some not so good episode but then when they get it right they get it right!

    there are so many superior episodes this season to choose from besides this crap. Midnight is the all-time worst of the 29th and 30th seasons. Just lame.

    Next week’s episode is/will be far superior (all it has to do is air, and it’s already superior to Midnight)

    I’ve watched every episode of Doctor Who that I’ve been able to, ever since a local station started playing it on the weekends in the mid 1980s. While there are some episodes that i like less than others, I still greatly enjoy the show. I just wish they’d make more than 13 episodes a season.

    This is hands down the worst episode to date. It had tons of potential but the ending was complete garbage.

    Nice attempt at trying to be m. night shyamalan RTD.

    Allons-y Rose is all i have to say.

    I have to say that season 4 of Doctor Who has been the worst to date….. Catherine Tate is utter rubbish and the scripts / story lines have been pants.
    Rose Tyler is back from Ep 11.Lets hope it gets better.

    Not a good episode at all. Thank god Russel T.Davies finally realised that he can’t write a decent Dr. Who script to save his life, and stepped down.

    Now Stephen Moffat is the man in charge, based on his previous Dr. Who episodes, which have all been nothing short of Sci-Fi genius, (Especially ‘Blink’, which has to be seen by anyone who dismisses Dr. Who as garbage), the next series of Dr. Who should be awesome…!

    i don’t understand all the negative reception for this episode. there’s certainly been better stories, but i thought it was excellent, especially for a davies penned ep.

    I love Doctor Who and recommend it to everyone I meet.
    I think that this show really make your fantasy flow.
