Doctor Strange 2007 DVDRip XviD-MESS
Doctor Strange is another legendary hero from Marvel comics who made his way on the big screen. Too bad for him, it’s only an animated STV movie this time with almost no info about it over the internet. The fantasy flick will be officially released August 14, 2007, but you can get it with a nice advance as usual. I don’t have much more to say about this, I’ve never heard about this character so I’ll leave it up to you and your comments.
Dr. Stephen Strange was one of the most gifted surgeons in medicine before his hands were left shattered and useless as a result of a car crash. Spending his fortune in pursuit of a way to fix his fractured body, the dejected doctor believed all was lost until the Ancient One offered him hope and healing in Tibet. Training mind, body and soul with the Ancient One and his pupils, Doctor Strange’s scope, power and compassion grows as he steps closer to his mystical fate. Hopefully it will be better than the live action mess made years ago.
Seems marvel have some sense and try to make the odd movie close to the comic as possible unlike most which are ADAPTED to suit so called mainstream.
Keen to see this hopefully it will be up there with the recent Iron Man toon movie – being made action now.
Hopefully this kinda thing is a prelude to live action Doc Strange in the future.
Its animation and a movie in the same way cow is beef and steak – lets not be pedantic hear for cripes sake.

traian: STV is Straight To Video. it basically means the movie didnt hit cinemas and was released directly to DVDs.

This release is just another Marvel animated movie such as the Avengers 1 & 2, the Iron Man movies, and coming out next year the New Avengers. Its a deal that Marvel has with Lions Gate to distribute these movies. I enjoyed the first Avengers, but the second one and the Iron Man movie was really dull. I’m guessing since Dr. Strange is usually just a supporting character (for various “big timers,” such as Spider-man, X-Men, The Hulk, Daredevil, and etc…) that this probably be dull as well.

whoever it was that said Dr. Strange is a supporting character is VERY VERY wrong. He is one of the most important characters in the entire Marvel Universe. Not to mention the fact that he is in the Illuminati AND just so happens to be the Sorcerer Supreme. Trust me, Dr. Stephen Strange is FAR from dull or just a “bit player” in the Marvel Universe.
this is far better than the iron man movie from a while ago, i had never heard of Dr Strange and i am not really much of a marvel fan but the movie was entertaining.

I agree with carey, that Dr. Strange was not a supporting character in the Marvel Universe the popularity of the character was during the late 60’s to the mid to late 70’s, even though the live action movie that was done in 1978 did not appeal to the public eye the story line of Dr. Stephen Strange was very entertaining, the use of mystism, keeping Dormammu and his demonic minions at bay. I’m in my 30’s and I still enjoy Marvel Comics, Dr. Strange was in my time as I can see that some of you don’t who Dr. Strange is. He was in crossovers with Spiderman and Avengers (Classic characters Like Hawkeye and Captain America). THis is just to give you a heads up on he character.
Haven’t ever had this problem before but I cant get the sound on this movie to work. Any ideas on the problem. I have the correct codecs. I really want to see this movie and it’s starting to piss me off.

I downloaded this when it was first hosted, but no matter how I expand the files all I get is the video with no sound and possibly a subtitle track in a .sub file that I can’t open or access. I have ever codec known of, so I am wondering if the movie even has audio. Anyone know something I might try different so I can watch this video? Picture is all there and looks great but no sound really bugs me.
Ok, so I started messing around with the .avi file and found that is I play it in Windows Media player there is audio, but when I play it in Divx Player, there is no sound. Not sure why this is happening, but I am going to try to recode it for use on my Divx DVD player. Hope that helps anyone. I would have known this sooner but I rarely ever use Media player for anything, but figured I would try. What do you know? It was good for something for once.
