DVTreleased the latest version of DivX Pro v7.0.0 .i don’t usually post Apps but this is my personal favorite enjoy :) Rapidshare link is included

    People still use DivX? I thought it was effectively killed off by the highly superior (and free) XviD codec.
    And k-lite lets me play any format I like, so… :D

    @13 When i open the folder which i extracted from winrar, It says that avg detects a trojan with keymaker.exe

    Hate to point this out, but it's not the same old DivX.
    People should not put down something just because they switched to something else a long time ago.

    The new DivX is a lot better and it's actually based on H.264 now. That's what everyone is raving about now with MKV.

    Is it better than other H.264 encoders? It's ok from what I've seen so far in new anime scene groups.

    @Andy….

    this was always a tricky thing, if i remember correctly, you have to open the Converter.exe (C:\Program Files\DivX\DivX Converter) and it will ask you to register. Just copy/paste the key(s) in the given area and it should work.

    hmm i have tried this once… on my MKV collection…
    there was no sound… video playback was laggy :D
    or vice versa ? i don't remember ^^
    sooo… maybe in divx8 they will fix it :/

    I have been running Vista Ultimate for over a year now, and the first blue screen of death i have ever had occurred 5 minutes after installing DivX 7. So unless you have a backup disk image prepared, i would steer clear of this codec.
