This way, you don't have to worry if your player supports srt text subs in your own language. Just google for AviAddxsubs, an excellent tool! It is inserting it into the video, so some reencoding is necessary and a loss of video quality(not really noticeable) is expected. I personally don't like hardcoding subs(except for anime) but to each his own.
