Description:
Divinity II: Ego Draconis takes the player back to Rivellon, more than half a century after the Divine came to power. Much has happened there since, but the death of the Divine –the hero of the previous game– is undoubtedly the greatest tragedy. He was slain by a Dragon Knight during a battle with Damian, Rivellon’s arch nemesis. The Divine’s paladins swore revenge and so the order of the Dragon Slayers came to be.
Rivellon, the beautiful but war torn world first explored in Divinity 2’s award winning predecessor, features many areas and labyrinths for the player to explore freely. This world is the home of plenty of non-player characters, offering a multitude of quests and storylines, or just the latest gossip. Because of the branched quest system, the player’s decisions can have long reaching consequences.
The player is set on an unexpected quest that will unveil hidden truths, reveal old evils and shall have grave implications on the whole of Rivellon.

Become bound to the Battle Tower through a mystical relic known as the Dragon Stone. The Dragon Stone allows you to teleport to the Battle Tower at any moment so that you can utilize the powers within.
- Build your very own ultimate fighting creature. Conjure the spirits to bring to life a creature made from body parts you have collected during your battles. This creature?s power is literally the sum of its body parts; the composition of various limbs determines its strengths and abilities. Once you are able to assemble this abomination, you may summon it to support you in combat.

I’ve been playing the German with English subtitles PC version for a few days…
All I can say is that It’s disappointing!
The game has far too many flaws as a pure RPG.
Example: You wank into someone’s house and start rummaging through their boxes, bags and cases. You take whatever you find, break open everything and they simply look at you and say and do nothing. No calling guards, no accusing you of stealing.
Example 2: Kill everyone’s chickens, no one will try to stop you. Then, use the RAW meat (no need to cook it) to gain health, almost as much as the (NOT FREE) potions give you.
The stories and plots are shallow, there’s no real depth to anything. It all seems disconnected.
The graphics are nice, but as for content, “Divinity” and “Beyond Divinity” have a lot more to offer. They are real RPG’s.
The battle system is basically click and slash, it’s Diablo on 3d steroids. If you simply move erratically and click, you’ll defeat any foe… I’ve even tested doing this with the weakest weapon and no armor on, then if you start to lose heath your away and hide behind a tree. The AI is SO STUPID that no one will find you while you eat bananas, apples and RAW CHICKEN LEGS to heal.
Like most games these days. A lot of Hype, a lot of pretty 3d but NO REAL CONTENT, no MEAT… Well except for the RAW Chicken Legs!
