P2Pers STG and Fatal once again (STG with the video and Fatal with the audio) to bring us another TS of the highly anticipated and rated Sci-Fi film “District 9″. I cant wait to see this film but im going to watch it at the cinema in a few days so i think ill wait till then ;)

Update: Just got home from watching it and totally awesome! one of the best Sci-fi movies in years.

Notes from NFO: Yet another release from us……This time round it’s D9 .The source used were the original russian source so no russian watermarking …..yes still had hardcoded russian subs. Audio is yet again supplied and synced by fatal himself ….. Subs ….well firstly like to thank many users who gave me links etc…and specially E411 for his pack ….but after checking them all against the video we have we opted to use the ones stash made as they fitted in time with the video. Many thanks stash for this great effort as it was a massive job to do ……cheers m8ty

Thirty years ago, aliens made first contact with Earth. Humans waited for the hostile attack, or the giant advances in technology. Neither came. Instead, the aliens were refugees, the last survivors of their home world. The creatures were set up in a makeshift home in South Africa’s District 9 as the world’s nations argued over what to do with them.

Now, patience over the alien situation has run out. Control over the aliens has been contracted out to Multi-National United (MNU), a private company uninterested in the aliens’ welfare — they will receive tremendous profits if they can make the aliens’ awesome weaponry work. So far, they have failed; activation of the weaponry requires alien DNA. The tension between the aliens and the humans comes to a head.

    Here's an idea, stop calling these comment sections, and start calling them questionably link centers.

    No one comments. 29 comments, not 1 in reference to the quality of the file, but hell, we have 20 different megaupload and rapidshare copies to choose from.

    I'm 100% serious, stop calling this a comment section or start posting COMMENTS.

    Sample still looks too weak for me, but I dunno, since no one has COMMENTED on the quality of THIS RELEASE I'll have to pass on it.

    STG-Fatal is not scene it's P2P

    And even if it's about using the same source most efficiently it might be nice to get best quality release.
    "The Scene" is becoming something full of nuke wars and PROPER everything even if it was OK.

    So there are just P2P releases for people that like quality not only SCORE attitude.

    I can now assure you all, SecretMyth Kingdom's release is superior to STG's. I just compared the full versions of both side by side.

    Secretmyth = Clearer, more bassy audio
    STG = Sounds more muffled, less rich audio.

    Secret Myth = Higher resolution video, brighter video, less pixelation, better.
    STG = Worse colors, darker, etc.

    Sad for STG.

    both copies are o.k but secretmyths hasn't got any subs for the alien talking parts…and unless your fluent in alien language, you can't understand alot of the film :-(

    Wanted to mention STG has less flicker which is a major problem on Secret's, but that alone does not make it better IMO.

    Also STG's video has a choppyness issue, if you compare it to Secret's its very clear. But the video quality differences are very obvious.

    I recommend that you all just go to the theaters for this one. Not only is the rating great right now; but the director/producer (Peter Jackson) creates some of the best films I've seen yet. So I wouldn't waste it on some TS copy. Although I'm not saying its all just a waste of time…I do give Fatal daps for the effort they put into this release. Yet, I still find that a movie of this caliber is best seen on the big screen. Use your mommas credit card, and enjoy it ; )

    A Great film. I have been recommending people go to the cinema when it comes out here in the UK.

    Watched the Lynks version. Normally i can't be done with TS's and it suddenly dawned why this one was so good.

    1) It stayed in focus
    2) Hardly any of the film is in the dark but in nice bright outdoors. Dark scenes are a real TS killer. You can see what is going on all the time.
    3) nobody standing u, cam being covered etc. Perfect from start to finish

    Think VHS…..you lose the detail DVD overes but you can watch and enjoy the film.

    If you can, go and see it in the cinema and make an evening of it. If not download, get some drinks and mates and make an evening of it.
