Here comes first (scene) copy of this mega-cool-awesome movie directed by Neill Blomkamp. Unfortunately quality of release isn’t that much mega-cool-awesome, even CAMELOT admit it in their NFO. Check the samples below…

Plot: Thirty years ago, aliens made first contact with Earth. Humans waited for the hostile attack, or the giant advances in technology. Neither came. Instead, the aliens were refugees, the last survivors of their home world. The creatures were set up in a makeshift home in South Africa’s District 9 as the world’s nations argued over what to do with them. Now, patience over the alien situation has run out. Control over the aliens has been contracted out to Multi-National United (MNU), a private company uninterested in the aliens’ welfare – they will receive tremendous profits if they can make the aliens’ awesome weaponry work.

    I saw this last tuesday night at a special screening with the director and star. It was completely awesome. One of the best movies ive seen this year, and the best sci fi movie of the new millennium! Hypocritical as it may sound, but please, GO SEE THIS IN THE THEATER! pay for it, make sure it is a financial success, so more movies like this(quality, over brainless action) are made! If you still want to get the bootleg after to watch it again, be my guest.

    Saw this in the cinema's today… And was blown away! Amazing movie, definitely one of the best sci-fi's I've seen in years. Planning on going to see it again this week. =)

    I watched a superior 1.2 GB Russian audio on one player, with a 9 MB English audio file dragged to a second player. Of course I had to synchronise. That wasn't bad, except that doesn't help with the alien subtitles.

    I can't recommend any movie where the "hero" puts innocents in jeopardy. And there is a lot of that here.

    Yep, although I only scanned through it to check the quality and the video was cropped, so I don't know if any of the subs are cut off at any point.

    What we need is someone to go through the SPooL release and create a sub file for this one, then we'll have the best we can currently get.
