Distortion 2006 DVDRip XviD-NascenT
Group NascenT which is well known for their crappy and almost always nuked releases published a new fullscreen dvdrip of Distortion (notice no “FS” in the title). This is an unknown thriller which didn’t even hit cinemas but relies on DVD sales. There hasn’t been any nukes yet, so it will be probably fine 1 CD thing…
Reminiscent of classic film noir, “Distortion” is a quirky, stylistic thriller that twists and turns with the degenerate schemes of Porter (played by Fogg), a drug-addicted former undercover cop. His girlfriend Rachel (played by Sarah Lahti) makes a risky deal with a sleazy internet porn producer to help bankroll their exit from LA. While Porter is in a back room with other “performers”, a drugged Rachel performs for the camera.
When Rachel is forced to do an objectionable sex scene, she calls out for his help, and a whacked out Porter makes a futile attempt to rescue her. Instead, he wakes up hours later, left for dead on the banks of the Los Angeles River. When Porter reports Sarah’s abduction to the police, they don’t believe the former-cop-gone-bad and his drug-hazed story. So he goes it alone, relying on his guile and detective experience to try and save Rachel’s life as well as his own!

This hit the big screens where I’m at.. But didn’t last long..
I’ve watched the telesync, and the movie is okay..
glad I didn’t pay to go see it.. My GF liked it tho.. So go figure…….

OMFG! THE HOST OF LEGENDS OF THE HIDDEN TEMPLE! bozo, Kirk Fogg was the host of Legends of the Hidden Temple… The gameshow on Nickelodeon in the mid to late 90’s… I will definitely be picking this up for that one reason… HAH!
