DiskTrix UltimateDefrag v1.64 Cracked-MiNT
UltimateDefrag offers alot of promise, claiming that it can increase performance considerably by finding out which files you use (More like, you telling it which files you use), then locates the lesser used files on the inner rings (the slower area) of the hard drive, allowing the more frequently used items to be in the quickest sector of the hard drive. Nice!, if it cracks up to these claims.

UltimateDefrag is the ultimate defragger and File Placement Optimizer. Defragging hard drives helps to restore your hard drive performance. File placement optimizing on the other hand, boosts your theoretical hard drive file access performance by up to 300% of manufacturers quoted averages (typical performance increase you’ll experience is between 25 and 100%) by placing the files you want performance from onto the faster performing (outer tracks) areas of your hard drive. With UltimateDefrag - you can specify which individual files, programs or games you want the best performance from. The “Archive” function places all of your unused files out of the way and onto the slower performing areas of your hard drive.
Program Features:
- Six Powerful Defrag Methods To Choose From!
- FAST 2 to 3 Minute Defrags
- The First True Graphical “Disk” Metaphor!
- Optimum Directory Placement And Consolidation
- Power, Placement and Performance!

wow that screenshot is freaky never seen it represented as a disk before. My fav and free defrag is WinContig just select the files/folders you want without having to do the whole disk
its really fast answell http://wincontig.mdtzone.it/en/index.htm
Will give it a shot. but O&O has done a good job for me so far…
and thx Q , will check that one out too. First things I really like about Wincontig: only 220kb as a zip and no installation needed. Even if it turns out to be not as good as the others, its still a keeper for those situations you can use a verry small, no install Defrag tool.
Well, Windows’ built in Disk Defragmenter is more than enough
But if you want a really good app, try Executive’s Diskeeper.
Guess theres alot of em.
I have Perfect Disk…
But the idea of putting shit you use more on the faster area sounds nice…
I will be getting this then :P.
oke ,who can give me the def.say of what is the best defrager
he says this,she says that.
whats the best!
I’ve been using this app for quite a while now, and it’s better if you only have one drive/partition, but it is a really good app (O&O and Diskeeper seem too bulky too me)
I’ve used both O&O and Diskeeper quite a lot… and I’ve found Diskeeper to be the overall best one of those. It uses the least amount of resources and does a good job. Has features like being able to defrag the windows pagefile as well which is very nice.
And if your not using the automatic “Set and Forget” defrag you can just make a simple .bat file which disables the Diskeeper service when not running the program. Minimal resources then.
This UltimateDefrag program seems to have a nice feature with the defrag based on when you last used a file. Though it looks and feels like an old Win 3.11 application, even the installer seems out of date.

Does this program also perform well with RAID 0 arrays?
If so, I might want to check it out…
why defrag and waste the time? run ubuntu http://www.ubuntu.com and never have to defrag again
ive used diskeeper for some time now wich is a great program, fast and all that but the fact the fucking crack allways stops working pisses me off.. so i thanks for this prog, tested and seems ok enough
So, would you guys recommend this one?
I’m used to using O&O, but hmm..
The default windows defragmenter is based on software developed by Executive’s Diskeeper. I prefer Perfect Disk myself.
O&O 10 Pro has never let me down yet, Ill stick with that.
FWIW Executive Software is owned by Scientology. I used to work for a company that sold the OpenVMS version so I know of their practices first hand. The marketing spin we received from ES really freaked me out. What a bunch of raving lunatics. Even their technical stuff contained Scientology propaganda.

Wrt placement optimization, many products operate on the logical disk and fail to consider the actual physical properties of the discs; I.e. number of spindles etc.
if windows wasn’t such a shitty pile of crap idea in the beginning, no one would have to defrag like all modern operating systems.
Perfectdisk is the best defrag program I encountered so far, Diskeeper is too bulky. O&O seems to be very good, however neither of them did a offline defrag, except Perfect disk, and it also optimizes startup files and has a good strong defrag algorithm… DiskTrix UltimateDefrag is a bit more advanced (for beginners)but it does a offline defrag (on request) for the pagefile/metadata/mtf and it also doesnt seem to have any service running in the background when it is not active.. that is a big plus.. I have to admit that after a defrag with this program my overall speed is noticeably better.
My rank:
Perfectdisk 9.5/10 - especialy good for beginers, does a very good job; should be realy enough for anybody, it has to services running in the background.
UltimateDefrag 9.5/10 - best results, a bit more tricky to use properly, small system footprint, read the rest above..
O&O Defrag 8.9/10 - simple to use, multiple defrag strategies, has a service running in the background though… doesnt defrag offline either
Diskeeper - 8.5/10 Somewhat intrusive, services in the background, not quite the best feature list, doesnt defrag offline files
im with you black hades, iv tried every defrag app u can mention, the best iv found is perfect disk 8, iv been usin this app for about a year its so easy and the performance boost is second to non especially if ur usin vista
I have never defragged, and i never will…
I doubt it gives any extra performance.
Wankstar maybe you are a beginner. There is no doubt about boosting up your system performance!Just try it out.You will see. O&O Defrag Professional highly recommended from me and it does offline defrag!
…hence yr name!!
Of course it improves performance….which you wouldnt be aware of cos youve never tried!!!
Strange logic!!
@Wankster: Except for increased speed and a decrease i physical strain to the disk, you also might gain some extra space. Especially if you haven’t defragged for some time.
@harlik - just because Perfectdisk has an easy interface it doesnt mean it is less efficient. It is only a shame that NTFS requires defragmentation at all and having this in perspective I think that as long as the results are unnoticeably similar, simplicity and speed of defragmentation are the things that count realy… I’ve tried O&O and it is quite good! however I did not see any earth shattering improvement. (I used O&O a while ago, it then did not suport offline defrag.. I am srry for not mentioning the versions of the programs in my earlier post.)
Here is a good marathon review of defrag utilities that I find very usefull:
http://donnedwards.openaccess.co.za/2007/06/great-defrag-shootout-all.html
i think that WANKSTAR needs to defrag his brain
I Think WANKSTER needs to defrag his mum!
Lol…
Perfect Disk all the way.
Windows all the way.
Ubuntu for the NO.
Have you had a look at JKDefrag? freeware.
Pretty schmick..
Well don’t get me wrong, sure it might give a little preformance boost, but nothing you can really feel - that’s what im saying.
^ It depends on your system. If you have a drive with lots of free space, then fragmentation is never a problem in the first place, never mind having to defrag.
On the other hand, try working on disks with low disk space and fragmentation levels of around 40%. You won’t need a benchmarking software to tell that its slow. Run a full defrag, and the results are there to see.
Fragmentation occurs mainly because of the low availability of space. With more free space, data can be written about freely in a continuous block. As the drive gets fuller, those large, continuous free areas may not be available, hence the file has to get split up to fit in wherever there is space.
So if you want to avoid using defrag programs, just get a larger drive and keep data you don’t use often off your hdd.
for big storage and many parallel defrag at the same time i recommend Diskeeper Server edition .. this i what i use for my NAS with raid5 / 8×250gb sata drives .. give very good performance
Waiting for it to hit news, however I will say there site looks like it was put up by a 5y old, a 6y old would have better design sense.
Does anyone know if this works with Vista??
I prefer Perfect Disk over DisKeeper and Windows built-in defrager
I might’ve missed it in the earlier comments,
but is there a Disk Perfect torrent?
Link?
Fantastic app speeds up programs no end. Well worth download.

PerfectDisk FTW.
I do gotta admit that the circular graphical representation of your hard drive is kinda cool but it’s still not accurate because most if not all modern hard drives have more than one platter and also they’re double sided so showing them as one big circle isn’t accurate at all.
Also, don’t defrag too often because defragging stresses your hard drive. On the other hand, using a fragmented drive stresses it as well if not more. Once a month or less is a good strategy, but it really all comes down to how you use your hard drive.
Another thing to remember is that most hard drives weren’t designed to work more than 5 years. I’m not saying that they won’t last longer but it’s still a good idea to change your hard drives every 3-5 years just to be safe. Of course, most people will do that anyway because we all know how quickly technology advances.
This proggy works great! One of the better ones I have used!
Cheers Mate!
Working nice on Vista x64 … nice interface.
uh… isn’t the latest version 2.0.0.47??
