Discovery Civilisation The Reich Underground PDTV XviD-FTP

At the end of WW2, the victors found vast unfinished systems of tunnels all over Nazi Germany. Hitler ordered the construction of some 800 underground complexes, in an effort to keep the Nazi war machine alive. 60 years ago, British and American bomber squadrons tried to destroy these subterranean structures. Including Hitler’s very own alpine bunker. Areas of the tunnel system still remain unexplored. Many of the intricate underground installations look as if the war here ended only yesterday. To the arriving allies they were a curiosity. But for the Nazis, they were a last hope for a dying empire. A very interesting documentary about the third reich’s amazingly huge and expansive subterranean tunnel systems, built entirely by forced laborers. There is a little dis-disfigurement contained in the pixels of the top left half of the documentary.

The story of a massive project that was initiated by Hitler to defeat the Allies. If successful, it could possibly have changed the course of history.
