Discovery Channel Heli-Skiing Livin The Dream HDTV XviD-TERRA

When I saw this getting pred just a while ago I got pretty psyched. I’m a snowboarder myself and love watching Snowboard films, most of which involve “Heli-Boarding”. Watching some serious pro’s taming the powder in beautiful locations is a pure joy, although a lot of people featured in this rls are amateurs. The show also features insight into the dangers of the environment in which these activities take place. Relatively inactive group TERRA bring you this release at a very nice quality . If you’re a fan of Extreme Sports you should probably check it out ;) .

Heli-skiing has become an increasingly popular activity since its inception in the 1960’s, with operators established in Canada, the continental USA, Alaska, Greenland, New Zealand, Indian Himalayas, Russia, Turkey, Sweden, Finland, Argentina, Chile and Europe. The mountain terrain that heli-skiing takes place in is diverse. Runs vary from high alpine glaciers, to alpine bowls, to steep chutes, to gladed trees.

No torrent on public trackers as far as I can see. Maybe someone nice will post some RS links.

Can someone explain to me the effectiveness of posting so many RS links when the only people that can utilize RS are those with premium accounts.. There’s the download limit with rapidshare as well as the time in between downloads. I don’t get why it’s so popular.

On the other hand, I use ADrive, flyupload, and yastorage ALL the time and get unlimited size on files and usually high download speeds. Am I missing something?

Well most people can bypass RS limits in one way or another, so there is a point in doing it. Also alot of people have premium accounts…

    @2

I would much rather have a single file direct download or even a torrent over multi-links also.

However, I see how it would be helpful for people on slower internet, or plagued with bandwidth limits. They could download the file in several smaller pieces over time, avoiding a single larger download.

The fact that RS gives most people better speeds then FlyUpload/MS/Adrive/1hitwonder upload systems and that they never go down.

Additionally there IS a RapidShare download manager, which allows you to just PASTE as many URLS as u need and it downloads automatically.

So the many parts thing isnt really a problem, its actually a good thing.

man I wonder if folks could drop out of a plane and airboard for awhile, then land on a mountain or something, just cut loose at 20 feet or so….and cruise down. I’m sure its been done. I hope so- that’d be far out braaaahh

  8. February 6th, 2008 | 05:51

Can you give me more info on bypassing the rapidshare limits?
I have looked and can’t find a good way to do it…

Also, which download manager bypasses rapdshare?
There are a lot out there, but most are fake crap or need premium…

  10. February 6th, 2008 | 05:58

just buy a premium acct you cheap bastard

Trust me, if i had the money and was sure they weren’t going to be shut down (that recent court loss weighs heavily on my mind) I would.
I have thought about it, but then yastorage and such came into being, and why pay for what you can get for free?

    @ blah29
I’m pretty sure that it will only effect the rapidshare.de site and not the rapidshare.com, as the .com is a seperate company and is based in Switzerland not Germany unlike the .de. Besides for a month its 6-99 euros or 5 pounds or 10 dollars.

“Canada, the continental USA, Alaska, Greenland, New Zealand, Indian Himalayas, Russia, Turkey, Sweden, Finland, Argentina, Chile and Europe.”

It might just be me (as a Swede), but last time I checked, Russia, Turkey, Sweden and Finland are all countries in Europe. :-’

Anyway top of the week to you all
    Peace!

    Geography lesson..

Turkey dosen’t belong either on the European continent nor the European Union. It belongs to Asia and has borders with Europe.
Russia is half on the european continent and half on the Asian, but not at all in the european union.
Sweden & Finland are positioned in the european continent, yes & they also belong to the european union.
You should check your geography knowledge & you shouldn’t consider text that accompanies releases so firmly at least on this matter.

    G’day Victor

    Geography lesson..

Turkey does belong to Asia and Europe. The Asian border is the bosporus which parts Istanbul…

You should check your geography knowledge

It’s Constantinople! If Europe considered the Turks European they wouldn’t continue to block them from joining the EU.
