Finally Dexter’s season 3 premiere has been released (no HDTV release out yet for some reason but i dont imagine it would be too far away), there was a pre air of this a few weeks back but i held out on that as the quality didnt look too good.

    Does this mean that apart from the 720p version, all of the others so far have been nuked due to being out of sync?? My little media hard drive doesn’t like .mkv files so I need an avi!!

    @43 That was a pre-air released a few weeks ago. S03E02 will presumably be shown on tv next sunday so your chances of getting it before then are somewhere between slim and none.

    2HD nuked their own release because it was out of sync. Crimson’s “proper” got nuked for being out of sync as well. So far aAF’s “real proper” seems ok.

    Also, 550mb is the new scene size for a 60 minute show. Shows on HBO and SHO are a full 60 minutes. This is different from a broadcast show which typically has about 15 minutes of commercials (thus 45 minutes of “show time”). 45 minute shows will still be at 350mb. In conclusion, these are not oversized.
