Desperate Romantics 1×03 HDTV XviD-FoV

New episode of UK series “Desperate Romantics” was again released by FoV.

John is happy that he has landed John Ruskin as his new patron. Hunt and Rossetti are jealous though as John starts to become famous. Ruskin wants John to paint a picture of his young wife called Effie and John learns from her that they are in a loveless marriage. John works out that he is expected to sleep with her in return for the patronage. John decides to walk away from the patronage but then realizes that he is in love with Effie.

    This is a good (not great) show. I recommend it if you're interested in art or art history generally. Acting is excellent. Visuals are quite amazing. On the whole, the Beeb do period costume dramas very well, and this is no exception.

    This is a great show. I highly recommend it if you have an interest in art or in the history of art generally. The acting is first class, with the usual stunning visuals we have come to expect from Aunty Beeb. No one does has, or will ever do period dramas better. Fact. And it has rumpy pumpy in it!
