NC17 is a rare rating afforded by the MPAA. When a movie has that rating, it receives very limited publicity. Most theaters will not show NC17 movies anymore, and many retailers (including Wal-Mart and Blockbuster) will not carry NC17 movies.

NC17 used to be called “X.” You might be more familiar with the X rating. NC17 is the same thing. They just renamed it.

I find it funny that people are actually trying to have a serious conversion about racism on RSLOG. Where does these people think they are? CNN.com? Negro please!

“Stupid & offensive” comments are going to be posted everywhere you go. Are you planning to sit everyone down & have a discussion everytime you see some racist remarks on some wall? or how about stopping & sharing your views on racism everytime someone on the street says something you don’t like? If you’re against racism, sexism or rape, good for you, talk all you want with your friends about it. No one gives 1/2 a crap here, and believe me, the people posting the “offensive” comments are not going to change their minds about it just because you’re posting stats or some other boring facts.

This shows that no one takes the rlslog staff seriously(sadly).

If 90+ of the above comments are useless(which they are) i feel like the administrators of this site are either not interested in truly moderating the comments or they are they have some vested interest in leaving racist bigoted comments that are COMPLETELY off-topic on their website.

Even the google spiders know how racist the comments on this website are and the results are indicative of that fact.
Try some google searches….

“scene release” + racists
“dvdscr” + racists
“XVid” + racists
“adrive.com” + racists

RLSLog results are on top and the list goes on.

WTH is the deal, im not one to get worked up about racism cuz it exists, much like rape, which is the topic of this film and the two are often combined sure but this is f*cking ridiculous RLSLog.

Ever consider having a staff member of the site dedicated to daily cleaning the comments? i’d be happy to spend a bit of my day doing so if need be cuz some of these comments are disgusting.

@33–No, you’re wrong. The studios haven’t owned movie theaters since the 1940’s when they were forced to divest themselves of all ownership in theaters. You can still find many theaters in the US with the name Fox or Warner etc. but the studios are no longer allowed to have any ownership interest in theaters due to monopoly concerns.

A newly released study of 62 inmates exonerated by DNA evidence shows that mistaken eyewitness identification played a role in 84 percent of the wrongful convictions.

Whites were more likely to misidentify blacks as their attackers, according to DNA experts and authors Barry Scheck and Peter Neufeld.

The two men, who gained nationwide fame working on O. J. Simpson’s defense during his murder trial, run the Innocence Project at a New York City law school. Their study, presented in a book written with New York Daily News writer Jim Dwyer, “Actual Innocence: Five Days to Execution and Other Dispatches from the Wrongfully Convicted,” was released yesterday.

BAY AREA VISIT

Scheck and Neufeld will be in the Bay Area next week to promote the book. They have also scheduled a meeting at the Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California at Berkeley to discuss setting up a similar Innocence Project there.

Several universities nationwide are part of what Scheck calls the Innocence Network, doing investigative and legal work for inmates claiming that DNA evidence could prove that they were wrongfully convicted.
