Not sure why they consider this a netbook, it’s basically a stripped down laptop. I own a Dell Mini 9 with Windows XP and it’s great, I really like it. It’s also a true netbook. Selling that thing with Vista on it kills any chance of me purchasing one, they should stick with XP or Linux for netbooks, until MS can create a OS that isn’t a POS like Vista.

At 9″x12″x1″ and 3lbs, I’d hardly consider this a ‘Netbook’. It looks like a decent stripped down basic notebook, just not in the size of a ‘Netbook’. Looks ok, but I’m not sure what is really that interesting about it. It’s overpriced for what you’re getting, it should be about $350-400, not $550. Put Linux on it and sell it for $350 and then maybe you’ll have some interest. Otherwise you can just find a good deal on a 13.3″ or 14″ laptop that will absolutely run circles around this for a similar price and not be significantly bulkier.
