That’s action game Death to Spies, released few moments ago by group RELOADED. There was quite popular demoversion of this game so many of you might already played it and you can try the full version now…

SMERSH (acronym of SMERt’ SHpionam, Russ: СМЕРть Шпионам, Eng: Death to Spies) were the counter-intelligence departments in the Soviet Army created in 1943

(SMERSH) is an acronym from two Russian words: “SMERt’ SHpionam” (СМЕРть Шпионам, Směrt Špionam) meaning “Death to Spies”. Though Fleming’s version of SMERSH supposedly was modelled upon the real SMERSH organization, the novels portray SMERSH as a massive Soviet counterintelligence organisation which aims its operatives abroad in subversion of the West.

“Smiert Spionem” is the Translation Death to spies as seen in the James Bond film The Living Daylights - tagged to agent upon assassination.

In the films it was changed to SPECTRE so they could of called this game SMERSH / DEATH TO SPIES or SPIERT SPIONEM.

So for those in the know the phrase does mean something.

Thats what watching too much Bond will do to you..

@nightblind: I think, Rapidshare isn’t for losers. I got the game from there. Just take a look here: Cryptload.info. It’s a good program to download from Rapidshare with captcha recognize. You can download as a free user and has the same advantages how a PREMIUM user. only the download speed is similar! GrEeTiNgZ

Actually this is a really good game, if a bit idiosyncratic. Plays almost identically to Hidden and Dangerous, just no squad and emphasis on stealth. If you have a short attention span and inability to think outside the box, not for you. Otherwise surprisingly good. The AI is a really nice change for this kind of game.

Overall good game. But its not optimized, you can’t wear some of the uniforms and you face like over 50 red guys, without any help. The AL own you so fast, you can barely kill them in time. Bad version of Hitman.

It’s a good game. I’d say it’s very hardcore PC-type game and it’s difficult, but a good game nonetheless. If you enjoy stealth games and have played Thief or Metal Gear Solid in the past, it’s for you.

I’d give it a modest 8.5 so far. I’m only on the 3rd level and it’s already very tough.

Similiar to post #35 by tony I get it uncompressed, mounted & when attempting to utilize the autorun install or manually opening setup.exe it fails to respond & I receive an “application hang” within system management. “Hanging application is-CMQOB.tmp, version 51.47.0.0, hang module hungapp, version 0.0.0.0, hang address 0×00000000.”
