Death In Santaland WS PDTV XviD-RTA

RTA releases an interesting documentary. This isn’t your typical snowy wonderland fairytale. Jon Ronson travels to North Pole, Alaska, to see what he can find out about a plot by a gang of 13-year-olds to murder their classmates and teachers. This tiny, freezing town is the home of the American Santa, and the local schoolchildren are his elves. Does everybody here really love Christmas, or does too much festivity bring out the need to kill?

In April 2006 six 13-year-olds were arrested in North Pole for planning a mass murder. They were part of a gang of 15 ‘outsiders’ who had drawn up a hitlist and were going to take guns and knives into class to settle some scores. They had planned to disable the school’s power and telephone systems before carrying out the shootings and then escaping to Anchorage on the train. But they were foiled when the boy who was supposed to bring the weapons failed to show up.

    Look RLSLOG, I'm getting a bit annoyed now with all the popups and mailware hidden in this site. Sometimes it doesn't even display for 2 seconds before being redirected to some myspace page. As the weeks go on this site gets more and more unprofessional what with editors that can't speak/type english properly and now the popups/spam etc.

    You can say what you like about if I don't like it I can go elsewhere but the fact is this site is a shadow of it's former self which is a shame as it used to be one of the best sites on the net.

    Dude, sounds like u got infected with some malware already if ure getting so many popups etc. If ure sure ure clean then try using Firefox with the Adblock Plus addon (both from mozilla.c0m) I use this combo and get NO popups/ads.

    Completely agree with the use of Firefox. The Godlike people over at Mozilla sure do make a sweet browser. And, of course, the addons such as Adblock etc are fantasmo. It blocks out all the Adsnot this site can throw at it. That's fo sho. And I must say, this docu is a revelation. God Bless

    Another in agreement about Firefox and Adblock Plus. I've been visiting this site for quite some time, and not once ever have I had an ad, a redirect… nada. In fact, I was surprised that anyone was complaining about it, as I guess I've always used the browser/adblock combo.

    Now, I understand that you may be unhappy with certain aspects of the site, but it does sound like you may need to do a little malware checking on your computer before you begin slamming the mods here at RLSLOG.

    I agree, sometimes the broken English is funny, but seriously, I'm not going to bite the hand that feeds me. Just be careful that you don't look a gift horse in the mouth. These guys work super hard to continue putting out releases, and I would just hate for a stray virus on your computer to cause such bad feelings. I know it's frustrating, but give a good antivirus a shot, and let us know your results.

    …. or, you could do like I did, and get a Mac. We don't get viruses….. (<– shameless Apple plug….hehehe)

    the sad thing about these mac fanatics, is that they have not even noticed that the rest of the computer world laughs their asses off at their childish stance.

    i work in IT, i repair osx problems 8 hours a day – including viruses. if anyone has bragging rights it's unix/linuc and co.
    plus everyone at work uses windows on their laptops; even our competitors.

    SO finally STFU pleeez.

    @10 Agreed

    Thanks for all the advice guys. Unfortunately I own an Alu IMac and have anti virus software PLUS I use little snitch. I will however try and use firefox to see if the problem stops but I love Safari as its so quick.

    ALL computer OS's have viruses INCLUDING Mac (here is a partial list from kaspersky) http://antivirus.about.com/gi/dynamic/offsite.htm?zi=1/XJ/Ya&sdn=antivirus&zu=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.viruslist.com%2Feng%2Fviruslistfind.asp%3FfindWhere%3D001%26findTxt%3Dmacintosh

    To Unix and Linix and every other one ALL have viruses and if someone tells you they dont they are either stupidly delusional or a liar or both. PC's have more but that is only because 94% of the world uses a PC. So you macfanbots had better wake up to reality.
