DEAL OR NO DEAL SECRET VAULT GAMES-ADDICTION

Game show video games conversions never really work. Interesting maybe for half an hour and then they get pretty boring even with new questions. This doesn’t look much different. Deal or no Deal Secret Vault is one such new quiz game based on the same TV show that airs on NBC in America. They got some fancy 3D engine in this but looks like its just for the host and the girls to move about. Still a point and click affair. Ah well, like the previous game this has a low file size and no copy protection so could be worth while is you really like the show or really need something to do.

Description: Deal or No Deal is back on NBC this fall and bigger than ever! Now, for the first time, Howie Mandel welcomes you into the heavily guarded vault for the thrill that is Deal or No Deal: Secret Vault Games. Each case contains a unique vault game derived from the hit show. Will you be able to Bust the Banker and discover The Keys to Success and or earn A Piece of the Pie before time runs out or you go bust? Whether you leave the vault with one penny or millions of dollars will depend on your skill, guts and answer to the one important question… Deal or No Deal?

Features:

  • Exciting new addition to the Deal or No Deal PC franchise designed to sell side-by-side with the best-selling original version.
  • Exclusive to the PC
  • Over 20 Secret Vault Games like Cascading Cases, Dice or No Dice, Dropping Dollars, Lucky Shuffle and more!
  • Both single and multiplayer game options

    A. I appreciate the post;
    B. I appreciate all the game posts; and
    C. I would appreciate all the games posts 10 times more if I didn’t have to look up the system requirements for every game you post which I’m interested in downloading. Please give a thought to those of us who are using PC’s with specs equivalent to a three-legged pony. Dedicated graphics card? what’s that?

Summary: please post system requirements in future… but thank you regardless.

    merry crimbo.

This show has got to be the most boring show ever. How hard is it to randomly pick a briefcase and open it to find out an amount? Worst of all, it drags and lags like a 486sx trying to run crysis. There is absolutely nothing appealing about the game except the skirts. Where’s the fun?

@shiny… not surprised… just spent over 10mins looking myself and can’t find them (which of course means they don’t exist! :D ). I therefore feel it is my duty to illegaly download the game so I can find out the requirements for the rest of their target customers, who they seem to have forgotten. There’s not a chance it’ll work on my machine considering my flyweight video card, but at least we might get some answers. Grrrr… I hate lazy game marketing.

What is the world coming to when I have to go to an English supermarket’s website to find out system requirements for an American gameshow PC game! (I’m a Brit in the USA, before the flames start!).

    Windows XP
    Windows Vista
    Pentium 4 or equivalent
    2 GHz Processor
    512 MB RAM
750 MB Free Hard Disk Space Required

No mention of a video card, which is hard to believe.

At least the treasure hunt is over! (<– cancels download)

I dont know why they dont make deal or no deal a quiz game where you have to answer questions to proceed after certain box selections like the UK pub game. Selecting box until you get to the last two is just boring.

    December 15th, 2007 | 09:37

Mr(s) Thizzlamik, rather than telling you directly how to do this I’m going to teach you how to teach yourself something. Ya know the whole give a man a fish/teach a man to fish thing, and I hope other heed this advice too.

First off, there’s this wonderful site, you may have heard of it, it’s called Google. This ‘Google’ site can be used for looking up valuable information, yes there’s more to the internet then porn.

Now, You should’ve downloaded two files here, a .bin and a .cue file, if you do not understand what these files are then maybe that ‘Google’ site may point you in the right direction (helpful isn’t it?). If you have these files then yay for you. Now let us use this Google site again and search for something that will help us put these files onto CD, why don’t we try searching for “.bin file onto cd” (without the “”). Hey look at that, there’s several helpful links on the first page.

See it’s not too hard to look up a little bit of information by ourselves is it? Might’ve even been quicker than posting a message on this site. Maybe something to consider in the future, who knows, maybe the next time you have a question to ask you could look up the answer yourself?

Of course, if you knew all this and this file is particularly hard to burn then my obvious appologies. However it may help if you give specifics so someone in the know may be able to help you out.

this sucks..you can’t even play the normal gameshow as far as I can tell..it’s just 20 mini games & cheap knock offs that have little or nothing to do with the show.

  39. simon
    December 17th, 2007 | 07:19

brando, ive just found out that there are 2 versions. this one is “Secret Vault games” basically just mini games, where the other version is the tv based one.
