A rather bad movie Deal was released by an unknown group AR3NA during that night. This drama is all about poker. There’ve been many movies on that subject but almost all of them are utterly boring and will only waste two hours of your time. Deal, filmed in US - Holland coproduction won’t be different. As someone stated at IMDB, the only bright side is that we can see Shannon’s sexy ass in tight panties for a second…

The Las Vegas style film revolves around an ex-gambler who teaches a hot-shot college student how to really play player, according to Variety. After the two have a bitter falling out, mentor and student find themselves competing against each other in the World Poker Tour championships. Also starring in Deal is Shannon Elizabeth and Charles Durning. Plus, guest cameos include professional poker players Phil “The Unabomber” Laak, Antonio The Magician Esfandari, and Vince Van Patton.

    Wonder if this is anything like the movie Robert Duval quietly released about poker - I thought it was a decent movie. Father son conflict thing going on.

    The movie is ok.If you have not seen it do not start your intro with “A rather bad movie Deal was released by an unknown group AR3NA during that night” it is quite rude to give bad review to something you have not seen read or heard.

    Couldn’t agree more.
    If you haven’t seen or even heard of it, bagging it out based on other films in the same genre or from what others have said is friggin pathetic.

    That said, ‘Martin’ didn’t actually say he didn’t watch it, (although a few signs point to it being the case) it was the scene group he said was unknown.

    I personally watched this one as soon as it was released on newtorrents (took forever to come down with only 1 seeder) and I’d have to say it’s not all bad.
    Sure the poker is dumbed right down for the non-playing viewing public, but the story is passable, and it’s definitely better than the eric banna/drew barrymore offering of ‘lucky you’ last year.

    If the genre interests you, best thing is to download it yourself and make up your own mind.
