We will probably see a few more of these TV packs over the next few weeks since there is pretty much nothing being aired for a while! (Until True Blood starts again on June 15th :D ) Today i bring you a brilliant TV show called Deadwood created and produced by David Milch that aired on HBO from 2004 – 2007, with three seasons going for 12 episodes each season. If you are looking for a dark show with great dialogue and very interesting and intriguing characters i recommend this show (Perhaps not for kids as there is ALOT of swearing in it). Here is the first season of Deadwood as a DVD rip by FFNDVD.

Set in 1876 just after Custer’s Last Stand in a small frontier town in the Black Hills of South Dakota during the gold rush. Based on true people and events (like Wyatt Earp, Al Swearengen, Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane) combined with fascinating fiction, Deadwood is a revisionist Western in combining traditional western backdrop with more modern, complex and dialogue-heavy storylines.

The town of Deadwood, South Dakota in the weeks following the Custer massacre is a lawless sinkhole of crime and corruption. Into this uncivilized outpost ride a disillusioned and bitter ex-lawman, Wild Bill Hickok, and Seth Bullock, a man hoping to find a new start for himself. Both men find themselves quickly on opposite sides of the legal and moral fence from Al Swearengen, saloon owner, hotel operator, and incipient boss of Deadwood. The lives of these three intertwine with many others, the high-minded and the low-lifes who populate Deadwood in 1876.

    Totally agreed…it was a travesty that this show got canned early. There was talk of HBO producing 2 specials to tie up all the loose ends but it looks like this wont happen.

    For people who missed this first time round then grab it now. Awesome show, well-scripted, great characterisation, great photography, great acting all-round. Every show ends on a cliffhanger but always manages to do it without appearing contrived in any way. A truly quality show and sadly a real rarity these days.

    Thanks Dot, I own all the DVDs but recommend anyone who hasn't seen this show and likes well-written, well-acted and just pure awesome TV to watch this.

    I think this might be the best thing I've ever seen on TV. All the actors are great but McShane is the standout, inhabiting his character so completely, in a way I've only seen on the stage before.

    I'm waiting to watch this great show again as soon as it comes out on Bluray. The same thing applies for Rome and Carnivale.

    Both seasons of Rome are supposed to be out before the end of tyhe year

    This is by far one of the best shows ever, it just sucks the end of season 3 is by far one of the worst endings ever, in that it doesnt end…. worst cliff hanger ever.

    problem is the morons in HBO canned too soon. the show doesn't even finish properly!! simply disgraceful!! still, it's definitely worth the download…

    WARNING: if you like your old classic western movies, and you dont want to ruin them, avoid deadwood, cause after you watched this one, you cant go back to shiny happy clean cowboy movies. this one blows them all out of the water, in every aspect you can imagine.

    absolutely one of the greatest series ever made. i never liked western themed series or movies, but this goes so far above and beyond, awesome characters, addictive story, Al Swearengen is a truly unforgettable favorite. i totally agree with #35. every other western ive seen before and after quickly pales in signifigance after this. a must see for anyone with a heartbeat and a penchant for quality viewing.

    I'm really enjoying these DVD rip releases of HBO shows. I watched the rips of True Blood recently and I enjoyed them, judging from the comments post I'll enjoy Deadwood as well. Is there any chance for MU links as well I found that those were very quick and easy to use. Anyway thanks for the uploads looking forwards to more releases,

    Deadwood was probably my favorite show on Television. I mourned for weeks after when it got shut down due to HBO's financial woes.

    This was one of the most expensive TV shows ever made and it shows it on the screen.

    Absolutely a gem (saloon).

    Rome was even more expensive than this show to produce. $100 Million for the first season.

    I hate to say it but, in the year that Wild Bill Hickock was murdered, there were only 3 other murders in Deadwood. The show portrayed that many every week. It was a drama, not a recreation.

    First episode sets of RARs gives you an *.exe file, second onwards is fine, Id like to appologise for that but the fifth episode rly has something missing, it extracts alright but media player then comes up with an error… Cheers for RS!

    episode 5 is totally 561 MB. When it was extract, it's 697 MB. But it isn't play.Its time is 00:00:00. Other episode's links are 700 Mb.No problem on them.

    I was tried your links and the first and second episode when I unpack they it give me and exe file. I've tried to rename it but the player can't reproduce it, someone knows what happen?

    if you got rared exe, then never double click it, but right click and ask winrar to extract it for you, sometimes these exe's will drop tiny suspicious exe in your temp directory and start enjoying your computer. you got p0wn3d ;-/
