Deadliest Catch is WAY better than typical reality TV. First off, it’s real, second off, the people on it are tough for real, not in an MTV type way.

The one captain, Sig, is by and away my favorite. He’s a character and a half, and I think he’s on The Daily Show Tuesday shortly after the new episode airs, so I expect a lot of banter between him and Jon Stewart.

I believe this is the second most dangerous job in the world. I used to watch this on discovery. Easily recommended.

its more documentary then anything else. great great show.. i have seen every season so far as discovery channel plays it over and over again.

I started watching Season 1 about a week ago, I’ve got Season 2 and will start downloading the first 2 episodes of Season 3 now. I can guarantee this is not your usual reality TV garbage, far from it. I definitely recommend people download this and watch it, excellent TV series.
