One of the better scene groups HLS released a new dvdrip of an excellend limited movie Days of Glory. This war drama called Indigènes in the original was nominated for Oscar and offers a really good story and performance from actors. It was filmed by French production with cooperation with many other countries. Therefore, the language isn’t English but French mixed with Arabic. This is a must have for every fan of war movies and not only for them.

1943. The young North Africans had never stepped foot on French soil but because France was at war, Saïd, Abdelkader, Messaoud and Yassir enlisted in the French Army, along with 130,000 other “indigenous soldiers,” to liberate the “fatherland” from the Nazi enemy. These heroes that history forgot won battles in Italy, Provence and the Vosges before finding themselves alone to defend an Alsatian village against a German battalion.

    Days.Of.Glory.LiMiTED.SUBFIX.DVDRiP.XViD-HLS was also released, dunno what was wrong with the ones included in this.

    This movie sounds fantastic! Nice to see some decent underground movies! (Underground as far as the UK is concerned anyway)

    Black book was awesome. just watched it last night. my missus is polish and reckons it touched her heart. good indepth movie. not what you expect.

    Not really underground! at least in France. it was a tribute to troops of magrheb having served in the Free French Forces in Italia and South of France (1943-1945)

    Your movie file name and your subtitle name have to be the same…so for example “hls-doga.avi” is your movie name, then your subtitle should be renamed to “hls-doga.srt” or use Media Player Classic if you want…just google K-lite mega codec pack

    I downloaded subtitles before for use with my VLC player and the file names didn’t match and they still worked - didn’t know they had to match

    Now I’m going to go download all the subtitles that didn’t work for me before and name them to match!!
