Woooohoooo, been wanting to watch this one since i first saw the trailer a few months back and here are scene group MENTiON with a nice DVDSCREENER of “Daybreakers”. Daybreakers is set in the year 2017, Daybreakers depicts a society in which almost the entirety of Earth’s population are vampires. The human race, and consequently the blood supply, are dying out. Without blood, all the vampires on the planet will starve.

Edward (Ethan Hawke), a vampire hematologist, tries to develop a blood substitute when he meets Lionel (Willem Dafoe) and Audrey (Claudia Karvan), two fugitive humans who claim to have a possible cure. Edward casts his lot with them in the hope of perfecting the cure before it’s too late.

    I understand that this has already been nuked for OOS throughout.
    Seems like a plan to wait for a proper, but it certainly looks worth waiting for!!!
    as an aside, would anyone have a decent (by which i mean non-cam) load of the vampire’s assistant available? just thought i would ask

    Hollywood doesn’t have the screener he would post a sample if he did

    Checked sample, tested it with converters, and checked the movie throughout, and it is OOS throughout, most OOS’s are a split second … and yes all my codecs r up to date…not sure what it would look like if converted to VOB’s if sync issues will be fixed.. hope info helped

    Just finished watching it in VLC and I didn’t even notice it was out of sync. I later went back to check and its barely, if any, out of sync. Also for those of you that complain about the audio just screw around with it in VLC and it’ll sound fine.

    I just watched this on my stand alone player and it was completely in sync. Although…
    This is not a real DVDSCR. This is obviously a mislabeled telecine. Very rare these days since R5′s are all the norm. I don’t think we’ve seen one since Tropic Thunder by scene group Bald. You can see the “cigarette burns” before reel changes. Looks like someone over in Russia has dusted off the old telecine machine. Pukka perhaps going by a new name? Whoever the source is, it’s good to see someone’s still got one that is operational.

    I don’t watch movies in Vlc Media player? Do you have a program like virtual dub where I can add 0,200ms to it? Since I guess I have to manually fix the audio myself since theres no uploads of in-sync audio yet.

    Anyhow who says they saw no sync issues is a flat out blind and deaf FOOL.

    It’s out of sync, the video and audio are not great either. If this is a screener..it’s a SH#T one.

    To all those on the fence about downloading this:

    I’m looking at this right now in VLC and WMP11 and it looks and sounds FINE. Yes it is just slightly out of sync, and yes the video quality isn’t the best. But it’s still better quality overall than most dvdscr’s and R5′s recently. This movie hasn’t even been released in my country..so I’m not complaining, and will be watching this tonight.

    I’ve also got it on VLC, the sync for dialogue is significantly out…the audio quality is NOT LINE, and the video is both blurry and washed out…NOWWHERE near the SCR quality of other recent releases
