Since a lot of you are probably waiting for a version that is in sync, here’s a p2p release (yes, after the scene release) for Daybreakers. Hopefully this one is in sync! Check out the sample.

It’s 2017, and the undead far outnumber the living in this horror film starring Oscar nominee Ethan Hawke (TRAINING DAY). A virus has spread across the earth, turning its inhabitants into vampires…. Ten years after a plague turns most of the world’s population into vampires, a critical blood shortage causes panic and gruesome mutations among the reanimated. Edward (Ethan Hawke), a vampire hematologist, tries to develop a blood substitute when he meets Lionel (Willem Dafoe) and Audrey (Claudia Karvan), two fugitive humans who claim to have a possible cure. Edward casts his lot with them in the hope of perfecting the cure before it’s too late.

    I just compared the sample to mention’s full release and I’m almost positive its EXACTLY the same, same sync issues. If you have the other don’t bother getting this.

    Well the video quality of the Mention one is dubios at best, I doubt the video source is DVD, looks more like a high quality TS.

    I havn’t watched the Mention release right through, but the few speaking sections I checked at various points appeared to be in sync to me and i’m normally very picky about what I watch.

    I’ll wait for one with better quality video I think.

    yeah the sync problem on either release isn’t bad enough to make it unwatchable… I’m usually a huge stickler about that because it drives me nuts and I BARELY noticed it.

    @ 10 I watched sample through vlc player and it played fine, make sure you have all audio codecs downloaded.

    Also agree there is a sync issue but does not look to noticeable.

    MENTION’s got nuked for OOS.
    An unofficial proper was released on usenet.
    MENTION’s got un-nuked.
    FLAWL3SS release also has OOS complaints levelled against it.

    I’m going to wait for the dust to settle on this nuke business.

    This one is not a dvdscr,but the quality is very good i would give it v8.5-9 a 7.5-8. But if someone could do i brighter version and mix alittle with it. That would be good.. maybe someone is doing it now :)

    don’t the words “screener” and “line” not really belong together? I’m sure the media aren’t getting sent screeners with no audio, so it needs a line audio set to it, what’s going on here?

    Sorry, please ignore my rambling in post 28.
    I have just thought, maybe English is not the only language on the planet, perhaps in other countries, other languages are used.
    I am wondering now if perhaps the film was dubbed into another language, so an english soundtrack (perhaps a line source) has had to be “synced” ha yeh right synced lol to it.
    Is this correct?

    @28 another reason the sound is taken off is because some screeners have identifying marks in the audio that can be traced back to the person who has leaked the screener, so its removed to protect the guilty.

    I’m so laughing at you guys, espcially at those saying original audio track was removed to protect the person who leaked the screener. Now let me tell you something, this is not from DVD Screener disc with english audio. No, this was ripped somewhere in Ukraine, where a projectionist got a hold of this DVD that is used for airing on screen. So, it’s not a DVDSCR, but rather real DVDRIP. There was no english track, just professional russian dubbed audio, also ukrainian subs. This release was publish on ukrainian torrent tracker a few days ago where it got removed. Today it got published on russian trackers where scene and p2p groups took it and put it english CAM audio. I hope that clears things up. Thanks for reading.

    I watched the mention release. The quality is fine, no real issues with sync or video, I’m guessing that all those complaining about the quality are comparing it to high quality DVDrips or better…

    But anyway..honestly the movie just isn’t that good. Could have been much better given the storyline, but it was average at best. So if you are one of those hanging out for a better quality copy, then you are just extending the delay on watching a pretty disappointing movie imo. Better quality a/v isn’t going to improve it.

    I would give the mention release a:6 v:7. I realise I should post that in the relevant thread, but I’m guessing most people are looking here now.

    i couldnt agree more with 101′s post
    saw this at cinema was expecting lots of action but it turn out to be a bit in the dust. all they did was talk , some action then more talk and end.
    even the action scene wasnt that good either imdb is wrong about this one , should have give this one a below 5 rating. dnt even bother waste your bandwidth on this one

    Yes this is tagged incorrectly, for some reason I preferred to believe the dvdscr tag was correct rather than think that it must be mislabeled!!
    screeners sent out to media with no audio!

    I apologise for being so narrow minded and bigoted that I think that a movie filmed in English cannot be dubbed…….no no no, you non English speaking infidels, subs are good enough for you, its all you are going to get and be grateful for it too…..how dare you require a dubbed soundtrack.
