    Finally, some NON-sheety TV shows.

    Speaking of which, Colbert Report and Daily Show are coming back on air on January 7th.

    I’m an American and I’ve been watching these late night talk shows for years.

    Let me be completely honest: they all suck. Every last one of them. Writers, no writers, they’re all the same. Bland and useless.

    What am I excited about? The Daily Show and the Colbert Report coming back. And without writers, no doubt. If anyone else in the world wants to see just how ridiculous normal Americans view our own political shortcomings TDS and TCR are the best gauges in existence.

    #7 – Well said. Late night shows are awful. Although Conan is sometimes funny, as well as Craig Ferguson. Jay Leno is so horrifically unfunny that it makes me think less of society to know that he has the most watched late night show.

    Yes, DailyShow/ColbertReport are always funny. They never miss a beat. What’s more, Stephen Colbert put out the funniest book of 2007.

    And as usual, make sure to skip all the irrelevant crap in the beginning to get to the AWESOME interviews!!!

    @11
    I do the opposite. Watch the funny beginning and then skip the dull interviews unless theres someone funny being interviewed.

    I always actually liked letterman. He can be funny and usually has funny topics. Havent seen him here on dutch tv for ages since they stopped broadcasting it a long long time ago. I couldn’t really laugh about Conan and Jay is even worse.
    Thus, i shall download this and laugh.

    Swag, dank…. anyone?
