Group F4CG released the latest version of DarkWave Studio, a proffesional audio software for creating electronic music. I can’t think of better application than Traktor in this segment of the market, but if you want to try something new, give it a go, it’s just four megabytes.

DarkWave Studio is a modern, high performance virtual studio for the creation of electronic music. DarkWave features ease of use for beginners and high quality for studio professionals creating complicated projects. It allows users to connect various machines included with DarkWave Studio in addition to machines that adhere to Steinberg’s VST effect and VSTi instrument format in a virtual studio environment limited only by your imagination.

A pattern editor with a piano roll interface is included to allow the creation of patterns of music for each instrument with ease. A sequencer allows patterns to be arranged into a song, allowing reuse of patterns to rapidly create a song with repeated elements. DarkWave Studio can also be used live with the MIDI Input machine which allows for playing of virtual instruments with a MIDI or USB music keyboard.

Multitrack recording is simple with DarkWave Studio’s multitrack hard disk recorder which allows any number of recording machines to be placed in the studio and then controlled from the hard disk recorder interface. Recording can be synchronised with the start and end of a song by starting recording of all tracks simultaneously as playing the song by the click of a button in the sequencer.

    Umm..I thinks the MOD needs to do a littles research. Traktor is not an app to make 'Electronic' music. It's a DJ'ing app, plain and simple. This is a Soft Synth studio similar to Reaktor.

    Hey i am a music producer and tracktor is a dj app it has nothing to do with producing music. So mayby you confunsed it with somting else anyway doesen't matter that much keep up the good posting

    as mentioned above, the traktor komparison is failure, and this darkwave app is, according to your post, not only for production of electronic music, but any music, as it offers multitrack recording (i.e real guitars, the ones without buttons). the music is then digitally recorded, can then be digitally mixed and for small audience even digitally mastered with this app. a lot of electronics involved. still no electronic music. neither is a band with a keyboard electronic music per se. or weirdest electronic fx on that guitar. coming closer to the gray area though. probably wikipedia give you explaination that tires to make sense. i only wanted to say you are smelly child anyway.
