There’s repack out, but as you can read in NFO there’s nothing wrong with previous release it’s just cosmetic thing.

In DARKEST OF DAYS , you’™ll get to experience some of the most varied gameplay ever released in one title. Things will never get stale as you travel to distant times and fight alongside people from that time period. Fighting in Antietam (the bloodiest day of the American Civil War) feels much different than fighting on the side of the Russians at Tannenberg (where the Russians withstood 140,000 casualties in WWI).

Fight in FIVE different Time Periods – Whether its in Pompeii, Antietam, WWI, WWII, or Little Big Horn you will fight with real weapons from the time period. You will battle against enemies that fight in different ways, all reflective of how fighting was done at the time.

Using a combination of both futuristic and historical weapons, players will be immersed in a world where in one instant they will be fighting against the Germans in the First World War and the next find themselves battling at Antietam in the American Civil War. A variety of combat missions, such as stealth, artillery assaults, and sniper attacks will keep players on their toes through dozens of levels spread out over five historical time periods – all while discovering the secrets of the mysterious organization for which they have been working. Fighting on one side of the action, then sometimes coming back to fix mistakes on the opposing side gives the player a chance to experience conflicts from both sides.

    'Kinda big…'???

    4.50GB is getting on the smaller side for new generation games. I think we would be lucky to see any more high quality games released below this size(FPS especially). New games are usually towards 10GB, even many slightly older games are well over 7GB.

    @51 Download the Nvidia PhysX Drivers at Nvidia's website. I was having the same problem and this fixed it. If you have PhysX drivers already, uninstall them and the download the ones off Nvidia's site and install. Fixed for me. Enjoy

    Anyone else stuck on the intro where the guy drags you from Little Big Horn?

    I just get stuck in a white screen and I can hear noises and go to the menu but not do anything.

    Tried really hard to like this game but in the end it is not so good.
    The AI is all over the place, soldiers appear from thin air and manage to walk through closed doors and other objects. Your own soldiers also stand around watching while the enemy is trying to kill you as if it is a show. It is also difficult to tell who you are meant to be shooting.

    The idea of the game is great putting you in the middle of 2 wars which you can change after you have met some objectives i.e the American Civil War and WWII. I have been playing the game for about 3 hours non stop but I think that might just be my lot.

    when I open the game, even with a crack, it teles me that it can't be open because I don't have the file "OpenAL32.dll". I downloaded the game three times from different servers-and the same problem.

    Nikita, Io fix your game download "OpenAL Installer for Windows" after you run this installed your games show run fine.

    Hi Guys,
    I have problem with this game. I install game (and crack ;) ) , directX, new soft for graphic card (I have Ati radeon X1950 Pro). And windows show me error: don't find enter point procedure alcGetString in OpenAL32.dll library. Of course I install new OpenAl32.dll and reinstall game but still don't work. Do you have some solution? Thx for help

    simao, i had the same problem, but i already fix it.
    you have to go to the folder where you installed the game and into this folder have other folder named "setup". Enter in this folder, in this folder have a "oalinst.exe", put this in the folder of Darkest of Days, then you click in "oalinst.exe" and install, but "oalinst.exe" must be in the Darkest of Days folder.
