Dark Corners 2006 DVDSCR XviD-NEPTUNE

Here’s an example of another unknown horror, which became very popular on the warez scene. With not many known actors and extremely low budget, thriller Dark Corners has amazing 9.4 out of 10 points at IMDB (yeah, only 19 votes, but still). This movie was also nominated for Emmy and Golden Globes, so it will have probably something really special. Good video quality is also included.

A troubled young woman (Thora Birch) wakes up one day as a different person, someone being stalked by terrifying creatures. But what is the dream and what is reality? In the tradition of such films as DEAD AGAIN and LOST HIGHWAY, the story of DARK CORNERS keeps flipping back around on top of itself, reveling in genre conventions, while ripping them up at the same time. The truly terrifying demons explored in this film revolve around raising children and suburban bliss, leaving you to wonder just what exactly is going.

I saw this film at the AFI film fest in Los Angeles on Friday night. I wanted to walk out partway, but didn’t want to damage the director who was going to lead a Q & A afterward. The film was uneven, sometimes hackneyed and incomprehensible by the end. It didn’t make any sense despite the symbolism and clues throughout both the dark and light worlds. Thora Birch was brave and worked hard to be real in both roles, but the separation between dark and light was too emphatic. THe resolution made no sense whatsoever and I advise people to save their money and time unless they have to analyze a film for a psychology class. My time would have been better spent standing in line for Pan’s Labryth again.

well, Ive seen the movie and uhhmm.. its a strange movie and all that but I aint gonna watch it again.. let me just say this, one thing is for shure its definitely not a nine, most likely a 5.3 given time on imdb.com ;)

for the audio/video quality bit, the audio in this movie(torrent) is to loud resulting in very poor audio quality and zero dynamics whenever something is slightly going on.
the picture quality is decent, now I dont know if the movie is made this way but the bright parts of the movie are to bright in my opinion.

saw the movie from the link given here. the film is interesting to say the least. very good quality of picture and sound!!! worth a go i’d say. even though i think the ending was a little too abrupt…like the director had to end it.

Watched this last night, very strange film, and personally I found it boring and did not make to much sense, it is one of those films you have to think about and it was late and I could not be bothered.

The video quality is fine for a DVD Screener no B&W scenes counters etc, but the audio is terrible, over amplified way to much meaning that I had to listen to it on my surround amp with the volume pretty much nearly at the lowest it can be to stop it becoming all distorted, cant say if this is Neptune’s fault or the source DVD but you cant miss it.

Due to the sound problems I would not recommend this but would advise if you wish to see this film wait for the DVD rip. Personally I won’t be as the film just did not interest me enough to warrant downloading it again.

This movie was boring and fucking low budget, what up with the low budget horror flicks floating around on the net. These movies justify illegal downloading! Because if i would have gone out and payed for this lame shit, i would have killed the guy from the videostore or the movietheater! CRAP ASS and NOT WORTH THE DOWNLOAD. It lies in the same B-movie line as “The Hills have eyes” and even that’s a better movie…hahahahahaha….That says alot……
