suddenly all these mac progs, while not even 7% of people have a mac.

this site is becoming a typical mac fanboi site because some editors have a mac.

I really don’t understand why all those PC fanboys have to come and whine about MAC scene releases being posted. They are just scene releases, this is site about scene releases.

I don’t understand it, I never have thought of commenting on releases that I have no interest in, obviously just because I have no interest in them. Why do PC fanboys bother to comment on MAC releases? What’s your problem? What’s the big deal?

    @13 l

“Hot info about new scene releases”

If does the scene rls applications for Mac why they can’t post about this? Because only 7% people have Mac?

  17. March 16th, 2008 | 14:51

    @ l

    1. This is not becoming typical “Mac fanboi site”. If it’s a scene release, I’ll be glad to post it.

    2. I don’t own a Mac, not sure about other staff editors.

    3. If i see any useful application (scene release) I’ll post it no matter what platform, Win, Mac, Linux, i don’t give a shit.

So, to short it out - If it’s useful, I’ll post it. Amen.

is this program as good as unrarx? thx for mac program… i love mac :D

  21. mynameis
    March 16th, 2008 | 15:28

Unrarx is in my opinion the absolute number 1 for decompressing rars. It is small and simple. Does the job.
But when it comes to compressing and using other file formats, i used Stuffit.
Now I thought maybe I should give iArchiver a try.

THANK YOU for this release! We Mac users really appreciate these release from time to time. If it’s scene, it just deserves to be posted as the others.

    Thanks again

christian, you say that, but more mac appz are being posted than pc. i mean are you trying to tell us the scene is releasing more mac appz?

    bs and you know it.

every day very interesting pc appz are being released by the scene and you guys post the few mac appz. thats why this site IS starting to be known as a mac fanboi site, like it or not.

This app sucks. When you for example downloaded a tv season pack, and try to unpack them all by just clicking them, the program freezes (Just like TheUnarchiver).

The only app that does a decent job unarchiving is UnrarX.

Windows users are just pissed off because they don´t have the money to buy a Mac. I was fearing the switch, but I´ve been a Mac user for 6 months now, and I will NEVER go back to Windows again. I love my Mac - thank you Apple! :D

I am not a fan of this app, but thanks for posting it. It keeps my eyes open. I prefer Stuffit 12 for all my unarchiving and MacPAR deLuxe for my unraring. I have used Unrarx, but it doesn’t compare performance wise or appearance wise to MacPAR

Or does someone possibly have a site just for Mac Apps like this?

Thanks for the Mac apps. Rar Expander is small and effective and freeware. Had problems with some rar files using Stuffit Deluxe and never have with Rar Expander. Use it all the time. Check it out at:

Might give it a shot because I’m not happy with Stuffit.

Nice to see some Windows users in here proving their ignorance..
I used to get annoyed by it, but now I enjoy it.
