Damnation PAL XBOX360-SWAG
Another interesting looking Third Person Shooter released by scene group SWAG. Damnation follows a group of freedom fighters led by a Hamilton Rourke. Set in an alternate planet earth, the early part of the twentieth century after the American Civil War has spanned over several decades, where steam replaces electricity. The game sees the protagonists fighting off a rich industrialist who wants to do away with both the Union and Confederate armies in one swift movement.
Evolving the shooter genre with its unique and exhilarating combination of fluid action and combat, Damnation features huge, open environments, frenetic combat, daredevil acrobatics and high-octane vehicle-based stunts. Presenting players with an intense test of reflexes, quick thinking and rapid-fire conflict, Damnation will feature vast, breathtaking landscapes, each covering miles of distance and thousands of vertical feet. Billed as a ’shooter gone vertical,’ and visually inspired by iconic elements of American history, these massive streaming landscapes will form the battlegrounds for a post-industrial conflict between humanity and an unstoppable arms dealer hell-bent on total world domination. Players will be able to choose their own paths and navigate the world by performing daredevil feats on the edge of human ability. However players aren’t the only ones with mind-blowing acrobatic skills; intelligent enemies will give chase and engage players in frantic gun fights and attacks that can come from any direction — in Damnation’s world there’s no safe place to hide. In addition to the single player experience, Damnation comes complete with a unique set of multiplayer options that take full advantage of the game’s expansive levels.

this game actually started as a mod for UT2004 and was entered in the $1 mil Make Something Unreal contest, it was finished, meaning you can play it on pc all you need it ut2004 and the Damnation MOD
I started playing it when it was released but gave up on it. The MOD used to be free, not sure if it's still available though it should be.
I wonder if this game is any different from the mod.

just patch wave3 games with ppf-o-matic3.exe and v14-15.ppf then they work fine on old ixtreme ( I wouldnt go live with it tho )
Game is pretty bad, feels like it was rushed to get to the shops, the shooting is bad it needs a cover system and some of the walls you can shoot through so the cover sucks.
it has some good things, like the whole climbing stuff is cool, but with that you can get lost easy and the path to go is not very clear at all, me and my bro were stuck right at the start trying to figure out where to climb and that to get to the next level.
i got sick of it pretty quick but might play for a bit longer but at the moment pretty disappointed
