NoPE’s patch, can use the player only. Cannot play from hdd and blu-ray, not detected.
Have to wait for a proper keygen. As is, with limitations mentioned above - may be ‘bloated’ BUT awesome !
PowerDVD 6 is what everyone needs, even if you are running Windows Vista, it works 100% and plays anything you throw at it with minimal CPU useage, especially if you have an Nvidia Graphics Card and PureVideo installed.
RLSLOG is late again this war released few days ago. I won’t download because i have version 7 released couple of weeks ago. I’ll wait for couple of months

Compare the same frame of a movie side by side in PowerDVD and in VLC
And you’ll see the huge deferent.
Enable the Vivid color profile in PowerDVD and you’ll blown away.
The only thing VLC is good for is to play corrupted files.
VLC is okay, its a player worth keeping but the playback quality on dvds with vlc is rubbish. Powerdvd is really good, even windows media center/media player plays dvds in much better quality than vlc by some distance.
N00bs who go on about vlc and mpc… sure those small progs can play the same files too…BUT…you obviously have not compared the image quality with PowerDVD.
When it comes to image quality, clarity, fluid playback and detail, you can’t beat PowerDVD, all tests and reviews claim the same too, end of.

The crack is not working for me on Vista 64-bit. I installed the application, then the crack. I loaded up PowerDVD and it was still the trial version.
I rebooted, but now the program wont even load.
Anybody know if BD Live (2.0) is supported yet?
I am using it for Blu-Ray btw.

I´m using a (nonpirated, shame on me) version 5.0 of Power DVD, and wouldn´t recommend any higher version. If you don´t have any problems with your version, stay with it. It´s really great for playing DVDs, but when it comes to ANYTHING else, it simply sucks. Plus, the higher versions tend to slow my system down.

i usually avoid NoPE stuff if i can help it… their cracks seldom work properly, if at all. Wait for a proper CORE keymaker if u really want this.
i have the fix for it, right click on the patch file and choose run as administrator. it will work I just did it

The reason you would download this is for the hardware accelerated codec support that MPC/VLC DONT provide. Download the PowerDVD codec, use them for decoding your movies in MPC etc

Hey guys! I was wondering how video acceleration works using an 8800GTX. I use PowerDVD but anytime I play a movie file video acceleration is greyed out in the options. Is video acceleration only good for certain types of files?
Same question with PureVideo. Is that enabled automatically on a 8800GTX? Just want to be sure I’m using my GPU to its fullest when playing movies.

I’ve been playing with this for about an hour now and WOW. Tested it on my HTPC with 47″ LCD. I have MPC, Zoom Player, and VLC installed but all video looks “washed out” compared to PowerDVD. I’m impressed! I used to monkey around with ffdshow but why, this is so easy to config. It played every file type without a hitch.
Oh yeah, to the newbs who say the patch doesn’t work, change your DPI setting to normal and restart. Then you’ll see the patch button.
@ people complaining about it not playing .mkv files:
Change .mkv to .avi and try again.

i can extract the keygen and info, but not the installer
i tried winrar 3.71 and 7-zip 4.57, but non of them is able to extract the installer properly !

1. Extract files here (Same folder, after that)
2. Go to the zip file and extract and it will give you the full ‘folder’ with installer., (all in all, double extraction process).,

3. Use HJsplit ? To join.

For all those noobs who say the release does not work, if you have learned to how to read at school, you must also have seen in the core nfo that you had to choose “phone activation” and block your internet connection while registering.
