Cyberlink PowerDVD Ultra v8.0.1730 Multilingual Incl.Keymaker-CORE

Here is a little bit newer version of Cyberlink PowerDVD Ultra. This is probably the best player in the world. This version is released by CORE and all functions are available. I don’t have a blu-ray rom so I couldn’t try to play blu-ray discs. Martin has already wrote about Cyberlink PowerDVD Ultra so you can read about this program here (so we don’t write things twice :-) ) Application is virus checked.

In this version are some fixes. Read about them in NFO, also read NFO for cracking instructions.

I tried version 8 of PowerDVD some time ago and was really disappointed. Seeing as 99% of people don’t have Blu-Ray players on PC, there’s no reason to get it. Also, version 8 has this annoying MoviLink feature.
Finally, xvid/dvix didn’t play for me with version 8. Then I downgraded to version 7 and everything was perfect again.

To recap: DON’T BOTHER WITH VERSION 8. Stick with good ‘ole 7.

very good media player. I seldom use it but when I want to watch a video with improved quality then I bring up this program and i have never been happier watching videos to my desired quality…
Thank you Releaselog! keep up the good quality post!

Why is this so much better than Media Player Classic?
MPC is light weight and does the job great! Why get something that’s 200MB when something that’s 2MB will do the job well?

Don’t install this if you have K-lite and VLC already.
It causes some conflict.dvds won’t play on media player and in Cyberlink’s dvd player volume becomes very low, even when set to maximum.

I dont quite see the point to this.. Its like a media version of Nero, full of pointless bloatware that no one ever uses when all you want to do is something simple. Whats wrong with VLC? Can someone tell me what the advantage of using this program is over VLC or media player classic?

for the noobs who say vlc, kmplarer, classic etc is better because it is “lighter”….you obviously dont understand that powerdvd has better quality image and playback.

all tests show this….and if you would compare it yourselves, you would see it too. sure there is some unwanted rubbish on it, but the same goes for vlc and kmplayer….but powerdvd has unmatched playback image quality.

but fanbois will be fanbois :)

vlc/mpc/kmp/gom/smp have lame DVD playback. Dont get me wrong, it works, but its not good. The DVD playback capabilities of the dedicated programs like powerdvd/windvd are unmatchable.

OK, well I guess you guys answered my question.
I wouldn’t use my laptop for watching DVDs anyway, I’d rather sit on my couch in front of a real DVD player with a big screen hooked up and surround sound.
I mainly use my laptop (hooked up to my home cinema system) for watching mkv files (DVD player plays Xvid so don’t need laptop for that), and MPC is still fine for that.
If they make a hard drive video player that supports mkv and outputs decoded surround sound then I wouldn’t really need these players much anymore :P.

THERE IS A VIRUS IN THE APP YOU IDIOT…VIRUS CHECKED WITH WHAT, NOD32? THAT CRAP DOESN’T DETECT ANYTHING!!

OR IS RLSLOG NOW GETTING PAID TO INFECT ITS USERS?

    @52

Should look at the tard who has a broken caps lock key!

I don’t think rlslog is getting paid to infect its users. However they are trying to teach you a lesson. They trying to prove to you that virus scanners are needed for your computer if you managed to get the virus from the download.

It’s not about how much space it takes up, it’s more about the waste of memory and the unnecessary lines of code that have to be run.

  56. MovieFan
    June 5th, 2008 | 09:09

Oh, and before anyone says “I have lots of memory”, I do too, but it doesn’t mean that it should be wasted, or the app should peform slower, or take longer to load from my HD.

pdvd 7.3 is the best version, it supports HD movie watching from the hard disk folder.
VLC doesn’t support hardware decode at all…
