Does anyone have any issues opening the .rar file, it keeps asking for setup.r00 the file isnt in the package. Anyone know anthing about this?

Intervideo WinDVD??

Jesus Christ… thats the lamest excuse for a Media Player I’ve ever seen. Bugs, crashes galore… dont like the way its bundled with every new PC also….

Cyberlink PowerDVD FTW! Tho, yeh, this version does tend to have a heap of useless extras. 6 is the benchmark imo for any DVD-Media player.

I used CORE’s release of PowerDVD 7.3.3304, uninstalled it, and installed this new 7.3.3516 -DVT release, and now i get no sound playing ANY media with PowerDVD.. Then I remove -DVT, and re-install CORE’s – now the sound is back again..

What’s wrong with this new release?? ..me using Vista maybe??

Take Media player classics instead.

No shiny 200MB special effects. Does what it is supposed to do. No install, no serial/crack just DL and play anything (If you are missing codecs download latest ffdshow)

I prefer free sw just because it has features i need not the ones that look great but takes 20%cpu

I also am a BIG fan of the VLC player. It will play files that Media Player OR Power DVD will not play. Sometimes in MP I get audio and just the ‘bouncing colours’ for video. I know it’s a codec issue, but don’t care ’cause VLC playes them fine. LOL!!

Anyrate. I am not sure if VLC can do the Blue so to speak, so this may be a handy application to add to your Christmas list.
