CyberLink PowerDVD 8 is compatible with all Centrino, Socket 478, Socket 423, Socket 370, Slot 1, Socket A and Slot A chipsets from Intel, VIA, SiS, ALi, NVIDIA, and AMD. The features for hardware deinterlace and “Read it clearly” may need updated drivers to support them. If you find problems when using these features, please update your drivers to latest version and then try again.
CyberLink PowerDVD 8 is capable of high-definition audio decoding. However, due to the industries lack of common secure audio path technology, all protected audio content (eg. DVD-Audio, Blu-ray Disc) will force audio to be down-sampled to 48Khz/16bit output resolution. This constraint will be removed once an approved secure audio path is deployed for the PC ecosystem.

    i dont know if my computer has blu ray.
    How do you find out if your computer has blu ray?

    bluray is a hardware device. try and check your optical drives for bluray logo.

    @11, if you don't know if your computer has blu-ray then most likely it doesn't. Bluray drives are more costly than regular ones and are not preinstalled on most pc's or laptops yet. If you bought one the saleman would surely have mentioned it as it's a major feature.

    The delux version, which is what this is, does not support blu-ray playback. You have to have the ultra version of 9 for blu-ray playback

    I don't know why this is not working, when I put some DVD Disc and the DVDPlayer recognize it, well, when i push play, the program shut down itself.

    I can't seem to get it to work.

    I've done everything BUT when I start the program its tells me that my computer dosnt have any connection (cuz I turned it off, step 3) and that I need to connect anf try again =(

    I dunno as time passes the computer literacy of peeps in the d/l scene gets worse not better. Those of you that can't understand why it is that the code used for keygens or the code used for cracks does some similar things to what a virus scanner heuristic function has been told is similar to code injection type viruses or key loggers, can add a pair of suspenders to yer belts by running the keygen in a sandbox application.
    Sandboxie fer example runs the key gen but won't let the application make any changes to the drives, the memory ,or the network, ie app cannot alter your system in any way.
    If you run a keygen with sandboxie (www.sandboxie.com freeware) and copy the number yourself the number will be the only thing generated by the app which is saved to memory so even if the keygen was a trojan or other malware, it couldn't hurt yer puta anyhow but it will still register the software.

    Warning! the RS link @4 is trying to steal premium login details.

    To prove this anyone with a premium RS account first log into RS with cookies enabled(keeps you logged in). Then click on that RS link @4 and it will still bring up the premium/free login page and when u click on Premium it looks for login details. My details were stolen a few months ago using this method, Beware.
