That happened although FLT published the Bonus Disc of the game few days ago and many people thought they already have the full game. I tried the demo, and imo this is the most overrated game of the year. The enemy AI is purely crap. I was standing on a hill, hiding in a bush. 30 meter away a boat with a machine gun attached was patrolling, and it spotted me INSIDE the bush, and began firing on me even though i was completely covered. The only thing that makes this game stand out is the insane hype it is getting because it has neat graphics. The rest of the game is just… bleh average, with the AI being below average.

I’m not going to download it though, I’m paying for the Special Edition. Crytek have earnt that respect, as I’m very excited about the CryEngine 2. This game isn’t another crappy franchise game (NFS anyone) and it isn’t going to be released on consoles – I’m happy to show my support by buying it

i dled it and played it for a little while. my pc runs it ok at high settings. but i gotta admit, it wasn’t half as fun or innovative as i expected it to be. sadly it’s just another boring shooter with impressive gfx.
so now i’ll go and continue play assassin’s creed on my 360 instead. man that game rocks, it’s so refreshing in a stale game world

It’s so ironic it’s kind of tragic: unless sli has seen dramatic performance improvements, the hardware required to run it the way it was meant to be run (weak pun intended): very high settings, 16×10 or higher, 40-60fps, just won’t exist for another six months.
Or, you could settle for less and play @lower settings indeed, and butcher the best looking game ever (so far). Seriously: water@very high, I had nervous giggles. Stuttering, 5 fps, 800×600 giggles, but still. Nervous giggles. And then I decided I needed a real life.

In a 64bit o/s running 64bit executables is usually faster… this was the case with the Crysis demo for sure.. bout 4-7 FPS more in 64bit mode.

oh running XP of course. aint gonna convert to VISTA till over 50% of my software runs better on it.
So far I can run Crysis demo FULL graphics options maxed in game and can still turn on AA 8 and 16 Ansio on the card and run at 30FPS so im good.

This game is really not that good, COD4 was really intense and had a stunning atmosphere with weaponry that is currently in use.
This one is just another “magic 14 year olds nerds wet dream” fps game. Like Gears of war, man.. that was a huge disapointment.

This game really is at the cutting edge of what is graphically possible and beyond.
They say that much like when FAR CRY was first released there wasn’t a pc that could display what it’s game/graphics engine was capable of till much later.
And i believe the same can be said of CRYSIS
I’ve even ordered a new pc especially in anticipation of playing this game (i’m lucky enough to have a well paid job_).
Having played the demo there is no doubt that this is an awesome game to play. And i can’t wait to play it in it’s full glory. A real copy not a cracked one.

Your chip may be holding you back but it should at least get the game to the menu.
Make sure Vsync is off. It’s not an option from within the game. You’ll have to turn it off using your GPU/graphic card’s control panel, like ATi tool, Nvpanel or nHancer.
It may not be the solution, but Vsync seems to lock the game up, and it did as well with the demo.

The Razor 64bit crack for Vista64, seems to be legit.
At least, it runs the game, but I’m still trying to confirm if it’s actually calling on the 64bit module.
When you compare the properties of the 32bit executable side by side with the new 64bit executable, the 64bit one is titled as a 64bit launch tool for SecuRom, which is copyrighted to Sony as compared to the 32bit which has no description and is copyrighted to Crytek.
They are also different in file size.

Slayman, not sure what you’re on about bro, the dvd crack that just got put out is working. Again, I’m still verifying that it’s indeed calling on the 64bit module, but again, it’s running. I have the game alt-tabbed right now.

Just alt-tab and pull up your taskmanager. It will say Crysis64.exe as opposed to Crysis32.exe.
Also, you can verify by running the GPU or CPU test from the bin64 folder. It will tell you on screen that it’s DX10 64bit.
If you had previously tried it, with the uncracked executable, it would have asked you to inser the DVD.

the game flies on my righ with a dualcore opty 185, 4gb ram and a single 8800GTX with HIGH settings at 1950×1200 (no AA/AF)
High or Very High? Major difference.
Also, there is no AF; well you can set it through your GPU, but the visual improvement is marginal, but the performance hit IS noticeable.
If you’re running a GTS or GTX and feel it’s a little slow, knock your shadow quality down to HIGH as opposed to VERY HIGH. This may return a few FPS and keep you floating above 20 on average. The biggest factor is the rendering quality, but that’s like the bread and butter of the game, visually speaking. Turning that down sucks
Anyways, XP with the DX10 ‘hack,’ still performs better, unfortunatley, but that ‘hack’ might not be doing quite what it’s intended to do.

One tip for such with no current graphic-cards:
The advanced option “shader-quality” should be set to medium or low, because this separate option causes a big fps-decrease.
All other advanced options could be set to high, because they have only a minimum effect at the fps.
With a oc’ed Radeon x1950Pro it runs.

1st go to ther link of the files on your browser then on the page sign in with your account and then clikc on the download option. if still doesnt works, follow the mentioned steps and then rather tahn clickiing on the download option right click on it the select the option download with flashget.

I’ve installed the game on XP and copied the crack to installation directory. Then trying to start the game, it gives black screen for 5 seconds, then it crashes and Windows XP error window comes and the usual stuff: “do you want to send error report”…

Duero, it does work with WinRAR. You just double click or right click>open them. Since it’s a .00X file it should ask you want you want to open it with. Then you need to direct to WinRar or WinRar executable. After that you will extract the .iso file and continue on your way.
If WinRar isn’t doing it, then maybe you have a considerably old version of WinRar.

Keep in mind that the DX10 ‘hack’ for XP only gives you about 70% of the DX10 features. The screenshots you see around the net are ‘hand picked,’ in spots where you don’t notice the differences as much. There is no way to force VERY HIGH shadering or shadow levels in XP. You can clearly notice both a visual and performance difference.
The reason I mention this, is that you should go through the CvarGroup .cfg files and edit/tweak them even more, manually, so you can improve your performance, as forcing the game to use VERY HIGH only cuts performance but will not increase visuals.

Just finished this game.
I gotta say I’m really disappointed, sure the graphics were good. But damn it was really not much thought behind the actual game play, felt like one of those old timer games where you do the same thing over and over again. Not a single “Wow” moment throughout the whole game for me.
Just to compare with another new-released game. Call of duty 4 owned crysis. Personally I had many good moments playing Call of duty 4.
These guys at crytek ought’a know there is more to a game then graphics. A good story, and well thought levels that gives the player suprices throughout the game is even more important. Crysis was way too predictable.

In episode “Reckoning”, at the end, a huge alien ship surfaces and attacks the carrier. I’m suppose to kill it by locking with “TAC gun”. I have to agree with mu (post #512). “I gotta say I’m really disappointed”, he hit that right on the head. Call of Duty 4 murdered this game on all fronts. I was not wowed once thru the entire game and the last 2/3 of the game is so heavily scripted that you would be better to just watch a skilled player play it and eat popcorn while u watch. Call of Duty 4 looked just as pretty but pulled off so many unique situations and scenarios I was amazed. This game is gonna piss alot of people off. Verdict = A long wait for nothing. COD4 ftw

I just finished the game (difficulty=normal) and I (sadly) have to agree with #563. Crysis is no match for CoD 4 – it lacks a good story, there’s too much scripting, enemies are simply dumb (the best so far are in FEAR), there’s very few weapons (rumors said that there will almost 100 of them, in fact its about 10), game is far too short, and last but not least, the ending is a poor joke. The only advantage of Crysis is better graphics, but CoD 4 plays much smoother, so in fact it’s a tie. Haven’t played multiplayer yet, but I can bet, that in this department CoD 4 will be better too. So it looks like Crysis won’t be game of the year, but might be dissapointment of the year.

I am halfway through i think you will realize this game is magnificent once you figure it out. You truly have to run for your life jumping and dissapearing into the jungle, and there are a hundred ways to get there.
THERE IS A BUG in this version after the hostage rescue in the village. After you destroy the 2 tanks, you have to head EAST out of the village into the mountains to the checkpoint. The NPC’s get stuck and don’t tell you what to do or where to go.
People complaining about the AI need to shut up. I had guys just shooting randomly into the forest hoping i was there. They can be ruthlessly efficient and unpredictable. I am blown away. I pre-ordered a copy, but i couldn’t wait and had rapidshare.

those who need download links why don’t you all just sign up to a private torrent site, it’s not that hard and u get your maximum speed downloading. just search at Isohunt.com and the results with the word passkey included is from a private site, just go there and register and FOLLOW the rules. last bet is Irc and it’s not that complicated. i got my copy of the game in about 10 hrs @ 140kb off torrent but my video card is not supported

Sad, Go to “options”, Then “preferences” and on the “proxy”tab uncheck “passive” then click ok. Now copy the ftp link I gave and paste it into flashfxp, you do this by clicking the lightening bolt on the right window[in flash] then click “quick-connect” a new window will pop open just RIGHT click where it says “Server or Url” and PASTE the link you copied, flash will fill in all the rest, now click connect at bottom of window.Good-luck.Cheers!

Unrar the files you downloaded, it will create a ~6.03gb DVD image file. Use DAEMON Tools to mount the image / or alternatively burn to a blank DVD9. Then run the installer from the DVD. Use the keygen in the Razor1911 folder inside the DVD to generate a valid key for installation, install…. copy crack from Razor1911 folder to \Bin32 folder of where you installed the game.
next time read the nfo files packed with the release, they tell you what to do.
you can open those nfo files with any notepad applications!

Anyone having a problem running this in DX9 instead of 10? My game loads, but during the intro the game grinds to a halt. The intro then just loads 1 screen every 20 secs, and the music sounds like its skipping. Runs fine in dx10, so I have no idea what the problem is. Before you ask, I think I’ll get better performance on dx9 then 10, hence the question. Any help would be appreciated!

And why shouldent DX10 mode work i havent tried yet but im sure i could get it to work if i relly wanted to but the fps would probably be bad i have vista btw and a DX10 capable card.

i did it!
finally i’ve managed to pass that f*..in cave and here is how i did;
first i desperatly even tried to mod the level with the official sandbox editor but dont know why whatever i tried couldnt manage to run a modded village level..
anyways then i discovered that there is a development mode and in that mode you can fly, play as god etc…

When I play on any map I don’t have any problem, but on map Awakeking when I go inside mine game and game make autosave – it’s stop, game crash .
When I restart PC, reload this save I go to next movie with this girl and Kyong and it’s again stop.
Have You something like that ?

Hey does anyone have issues with the game freezing up and having the screen go blank? This keeps happening to me after about ten minutes of game play. I have to shut off the game through task manager.

I have a problem install it. I am using Vista. when the installer install window C++ distributable, it shows an error. I wait awhile and it continue install and at the end , it shows that Windows games explorer cant install the game. anyone has the similar problem?

MUCH BETTER game than HALO. You need a REAL pc to play but dual core cpus 2 gig memory and a good DX10 video card are all afforable under $500.00 bushs.

You made the same mistake I did by using hj-split. Instead of using hj-split to join the .001, .002 files, just open them with winrar starting from .001 If you extract them with winrar instead of joining them, you get a perfectly working file that has a .ISO extension.

part1 of filmoyun has some trojan virus on it
just downloaded all 65 parts. I unpacked using 7-zip. What next? Too big to put on DVD. I click setup in crysis folder and it says “error reading setup initialization file” and when i click on autorunCD.exe it comes up with menu of Crysis and I click install and get the same message. If i click on crysis.msi it comes up and I click next and it says “couldn’t launch cd key tool”. I’m a newbie I admit. Trying to learn. Getting better but I need help with these rapidshare parts. Thanks in advance.

FYI at Ebay they sell legit CD KEY to play online. In like 23 USD. Just look for a good reputation seller.
I’m telling this because Punkbuster is starting to ban cracked servers. It did that on COD4. Might do the same for crysis.
Instead of using “cracked” in the name, u guys might wanna use “private” or something like it.
