When we meet him, he's already washed up on his Island of Despair, following multiple attempts to leave England. It looks to me that he has already been for 50 years on this island because of unbelievable manifoldly buildings, tree houses, sophisticated traps for animals and enemies, etc. Think about it - this is just absurd. And just to have it said, Winchester (who obviously has enough time to go to the island gym every day) is so arrogant and really really bad acting. Very sad.
