   the cause of messed flags is landed_titles.txt in install_dir/common folder. Backup this file before update and then replace. Don’t know if it will lead to any bugs but i didn’t notice any and the falgs are ok.

    Can I ask, how exactly you managed that? If i backup my landed_titles and install this update, it still doesn’t show flags properly

    1. backup original (from 1.00 game version) landed_titles.txt
    2. install patch
    3. replace landed_titles.txt in common folder with your backed up file.
    btw patch #2 also messed up dynasty flags from dlc and i didn’t figure why. so i had to delete dlc001.dlc

    1.00 to 1.02b ( this update seem to works well for most) except some people will have CoA mess up.

    1.02b to 1.03b this second update will, seem like everyone have their CoA completely messed up. according to the official forum to fix this, you need to re-install the DLC (Dynasty Shields).

    maybe someone would the new DLC CoA.

    it work , but the golden horde being shown as k-golden-horde on the game , i think there is an messed up in landed_titles.txt

    Yes. And the alert icon CB for claim a duchy is being shown as: “alert_dejure_claim_instant”.
    This is something that you can mod in game files in every paradox game. I just don’t know location of this file

    All the flags are wrong the Holy Roman Empire has the flag of Hamburg and so on. It seems like the flags shifted or something.

    k_il-khanate.tga -> e_il-khanate.tga
    k_timurids.tga -> e_timurids.tga
    k_golden_horde.tga -> e_golden_horde.tga

    maybe fix CoA bug.

    This fixed the switched flags for me with 1.04c patch THX!
