Crusade In Jeans 2006 DVDRip XviD-SSF

Group SSF stirred the surface of this boring day with their dvdrip of Crusade In Jeans. This is a family movie (originally called “Kruistocht in spijkerbroek”) based on a classic Dutch novel, the target age would be probably something like 15 years, so nothing for fans of brutal horrors. Although it’s a Dutch movie, this release contains English audio so you won’t have any problems understanding the story. The 2 CD release allowed sceners to include AC3 audio as well.

The Fifteen year old Dolf uses a prototype time machine and gets stuck in the Dark Ages. He gets struck down by bandits, but is saved by the beautiful and tough Jenne. She is part of a children’s crusade: eightthousend children on their way to Jerusalem to free the city of the Persians. Dolf helps the children to defy the terrible mountains, to conquer disease and to fight evil knights. Slowly Dolf begins to realize, the real danger does not lurk behind the next mountaintop, but the danger is the crusade itself. Dolf suspects the charismatic leader of the crusade, father Anselmus, to use him as a pawn in his horrifying plan…

Ehm. This movie isn’t Dutch. It’s only based on a Dutch children’s book. Believe you me, if it was Dutch it would be in Dutch and it would be promoted 24/7 on TV here in Holland.

Ohw, and before I forget, it would have starred lame Dutch actors, such as Johnny de Mol. Puke Puke..

It was, but it’s now already out on dvd for quite a long time now, so there aren’t that many ads anymore.

Those were commercials, I’m talking about all the airtime a movie such as zwartboek got on public channels. Never mind though, might be a good movie.

How childish is this movie? Good for (extremely) bored adults or they better start making babies to watch it with?

  9. May 30th, 2007 | 20:18

Country of production: Netherlands / Luxembourg / Germany

    Dude,

Ehm, is was shot in those three countries… Does thas same principle make Wo shi shei a Dutch movie as well?

it is not a Dutch but an international production, at least that’s what they say on all the websites. Never mind though, just wanted to let people know that there are other Dutch movies which are really Dutch. This one just ain’t Dutch…

The question you should be asking yourself is whether anyone cares about the technicalities of the movie’s production. If it’s a good movie, I don’t care if it was shot by Hitler personally. Country of origin? Who cares?

Spijkerbroek is dutch for jeans. It might be a place or something, but it isn’t in this sentence.

So go start your own releases site if you’re not happy with this one! Besides, releaselog is only posting about what gets released, if nothing gets released than they can do shit about that! Be happy with what you get or take your whining somewhere else.

Let’s make it a mixed movie indeed cuz it’s shot in several countries with actors from various countries..

    Thanks :)
I’ve been looking for this one for a long time.
For those who never heart about it, it used to be one of the most famous children books in Holland and Belgium.

    It’s a real classic.
    Not much seeders though :(

    Guys,

This site rocks. I wouldn’t visit it if it didn’t. It keeps you up to date even if you aren’t planning to download anything. If the comments bother you that easily, please just don’t bother visiting the site and go play with yourself. As long as they’re on-topic they’re OK!…

Keep up the good work and try releasing some low budget International film festival movies.
