Personaly, i prefer use Vmware than crossover, its more stable, but for old mac it’s good to run some windows app’s with this software. I also included the .SH version (maybe we have some linux users on rlslog :p)

Description:
CrossOver Mac allows you to install many popular Windows applications and games on Mac OS X. Just click and run your application directly from the OS X Finder.     Vmware = installing OS (windows xp, etc)
    Crossover = running app without OS, i use it mostrly to run win keygen with mac os x appz like CS4, etc, just create a bottle> install unsupported soft> select .exe> done!

    Crossover 8.0 is a much needed improvement over 7.x. Microsoft Office 2007 runs quite well in it.

    Interesting to see this here, as they had the "Lame Duck" give away back in Oct. 2008 where they gave away the exact same versions for free and a year of support.

    As for cracks…there aren't any, unlike Cedega. It's just a standard .sh or distro specific file.
