    David Blaine started off doing street magic and illusions but over the past several years he hasn’t been doing that. It’s not magic or illusions. Its a test of endurance and will. Trying to last a certain number of hours in an ice block? No magic there. Trying to beat the record for holding breath underwater? No magic there. Don’t confuse the two things. If it was to be an illusory thing then they would have an “accident” where equipment fell on the ice block or water thing and smashed it and having David disappear and reappear somewhere else unharmed. Something like that.
