It was supposed to be the experience of a lifetime. The chance to study in Canada on student Visa. But opportunity turned into a nightmare. Rie Fujii came to Calgary from Japan in 1997. She was planning to take English at Mount Royal College. But instead of finishing her studies, she started a family with peddy criminal, Peter Brown. But with a mother that could not care for them and a father who would not, the couple’s two children, 15 month old Dominic and 3 month old Gemini, were DOOMED. Today on The Criminal Mind, what happened to Dominic and Gemini Fuji on this Calgary apartment building in the spring of 2001. An interesting look at how often this type of crime happens in Canada. My advice: ‘choose death’, and never ‘choose life’.
In April of 1997 a young Japanese student came to Calgary on a student Visa. Rie Fujii started a relationship with a man and ended up having two children with him. Even though her visa had expired she stayed in the country and started another relationship with a different man.
Then in 2001, the 23 year old single mother left her two young children alone in an apartment for ten days. Both kids starved to death. On the Criminal Mind we look at how this could have happened and where Rie Fujii is today.

I don’t mind COPS or Entourage or the odd TV show i haven’t heard of, it’s nice to be exposed to something new.
But I agree that anything else from the last few weeks/days from the Crime Investigation Network, is just poor programming and should be avoided and definitely not advertised for downloading….
I cannot believe people bother to rip nor download this crap. You should be paying me to watch it…
As far as i can tell COPS is the only watchable program on Crime Investigation Network. Eeek….
It’s interesting that two items down is something about “women who snapped” and what led to it. Leaving kids along for 10 days is, on the face of it, snapping.
