I see some slightly less appreciating RLSLOG readers constantly complaining about the speed of our posts – well, here’s something really new for the whiners, a 4 minute old dvdrip of a documentary called “Crap Shoot”, released by group DOMiNO. This is not exactly Michael Moore, but it’s an interesting watch anyway, particularly for those interested in film making. The budget of Crap Shoot is $50,000 so don’t expect too much. 97 minutes of runtime in 1 CD rip with 2 channel AC3 audio.

One of America’s top research scientists and his bumbling narrator cruise the endless urban maze of Los Angeles to determine if, as screenwriter William Goldman once stated, “Nobody knows anything about what makes a movie work.” They discover that the movie business is not just a crap shoot – the enigmatic science of bio-psychology guides secretly guides all blockbuster hits. But as their study of Hollywood’s creative development process slowly degenerates into a raunchy road trip, their entertaining documentary about movies becomes a hilarious movie about documentaries.
